Dear Knowflakes,

This topic is to share your experiences of slow-moving Pluto and Neptune transits.

Please post what houses / signs were affected by those transits, what aspects you had and what it felt like

Like, for example, two years ago I had tr. Pluto in the 4th sextile my natal Pluto in the 3d. I read somewhere that such a transit doesn't happen often (thank God ) and it signifies a period of dramatic changes when the old gets broken into pieces but something new (and better) is built instead. I lost my job and had to move to a far worse place but then, yes, rather unexpectedly I got a new better job...
That was NOT a stressful aspect though it hardly felt harmonious

Neptune transiting through my 6th hs trines Pluto in the 3d. Not sure but maybe this is why I've started exploring astrology?

Sun in Gemini
AC in Leo
Moon in Pisces

Hi Marina,

sounds like you've put some difficult times behind you. At least as you said, once a Pluto transit is over, you don't have to worry about it anymore!

For me, I had Neptune squaring my MC back in 2001 when I started dealing with astrology. I was semi-suicidal at the time, but somehow got through it (felt like there was no point to my life).

Pluto entered my 12th house a few weeks ago (yikes!) and I'm wondering just how bad that will be through the next 10 years as it conjuncts my moon, mercury, and neptune.

I also have a still-ongoing Pluto square Mars transit. On the day when it was exact (Jun 30th 2003) a police officer almost shot me thinking I was some criminal they were looking for. I'm glad this one's just about over.

Anyone else experiencing menacing Pluto/Neptune transits?

I currently have Neptune transiting my 1st House, and it has definately effected my view of myself over the last several years. Here is my general understanding of Neptune transiting my 1st House:

During my 1st House transit I will be constantly presented with a wide variety of feedback from others on how they see me. I shouldn’t accept any of these views as representing who I really am as a person, because they are just reflections of the many faces I will be trying on during this time. With all of the diverse feedback I will be receiving, it will be important that I keep a firm handle on who I am, and not try to match what I hear from others. Others will be confused by my changing self-image now, but no more than I am. Its like I'm trying on different masks to see which one fits me best, or best meets others expectations. I need to understand that the feedback from others only reflects feedback on the masks I'm trying on, not who I really am as a person. Before Neptune leave this house, I should have a pretty good idea of who I am, my strengths and my weaknesses.

I can definately relate to this in my life. Anyone else going through a Neptune 1st House transit?

When transiting Pluto conj Neptune, I started having prophetic dreams everyday(!!!), it felt like listening to daily horoscopes on the radio, lol

When transiting Pluto reached my Moon, I fell in love, obssessive, karmic, all-consuming LOVE!!!!!!!!!
I have only supportive aspects to Moon/Neptune conj.

My parents divorced when Pluto was transiting my mom's ASC

When my transiting Neptune opposed natal Saturn and transiting Saturn opposed natal Neptune I was very, very depressed and had compulsive suicidal thoughts.

Also when transiting Saturn opposed my natal Moon my mom got seriously ill (spent 10 days in the intensive care unit)

My natal Neptune makes only supportive aspects (including trine to Saturn)

Anyway slow-planet transit events is a very individual thing and depends on natal aspects/ configurations, (progressions, solar return chart should be taken into consideration too.)

I just survived Pluto conjunct the Asc. and as far as transits go it sucked LEMONS.

It was positively the roughest transit I've ever gone through. It takes away some part of your life you don't feel you can part with. No amount of compromise can fix. Even if at the time you don't feel like you have outgrown it if Pluto says you have its history.

Hi Marina ~

I’m a Leo Asc, with Libra Sun and Pisces Moon, so we have Pluto transiting the 4th in common. Pluto entered my 4th house in October 1993. Seems like I’ve had more upheavals in my home and living situation in that period than in all the previous years of my life, including moving halfway across the country (Chiron was just about conjunct my Sun when that happened)! And it’s possible I will move again – when my son was a toddler, the house I bought was plenty big enough for the two of us. But now that he’s older….well, bigger boys have bigger toys, and a second bathroom might become essential tPluto has been trining nPluto for months now applying towards exact, along with tPluto sqare nMars. It has been a time of study and learning, almost a compulsion to exercise my brain, and if it weren’t for some health issues, I would have also been obsessed with DOING. tPluto will be squaring my Moon and sextiling my Sun come January. btw, I have nPluto in XII conj my Asc – I read once that aspect will make life-changing transformations easier for me than others, at least it has worked out that way in my life as a Look On The Bright Side Leo Asc…..

Neptune is halfway thru my 6th house. I haven’t been exactly ‘unhappy’ in my job, but let’s say it’s just not as fulfilling as it could be. Along with those health issues this year, I’ve been dreaming about how I make my creative hobby profitable enough, with adequate security to pay the bills, so I could leave Corporate America. In 2008, Neptune will start trining my Sun, Saturn, Neptune stellium in the 3rd, that should be quite a ride!

Uranus is transiting my 7th house (Aqua on the cusp), doing exactly what Uranus in the 7th could be expected to do – sudden, exciting and unusual relationships! See this thread for Uranus transits by house http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005360.html
