Topic: So Many Relationships Are Breaking Up

OK -Weird weird weird - It's as if almost every couple I know is completely breaking up, starting about November 21st through the present. Anyone else observing this around them, or having this sort of ABRUPT experience during this last couple of days as well? I just looked at which Planets are Transiting right now, especially the Moon because it seemed to be happening so abruptly. I noticed the Transiting Moon had been in Leo with Transiting Saturn in Leo too. I wonder if that did anything. Transiting Moon has just gone into critical Virgo, which, along with Transiting Mercury in Sag, might mean "critical" arguments will be coming to a head starting TODAY and for the next couple of days! Transiting Venus is in serious Capricorn too, so maybe this is why I see couples really taking a hard look at what they've got, asking themselves the serious questions like if it's what they really want... ------------------

Ack - I'm happy to say I haven't seen any relationships breaking up, including my own (thank goodness). My best friend is on the rocks with his current girlfriend, but theirs is a fairly new relationship. If I were to guess at what might be occurring, I’d point a finger at Mercury in retro. My last relationship detonated during the last retro period for Mercury. In my case, the foundation of the relationship was weakened long before the retro period, and there was a desperate need for communication and rebuilding, however trying to communicate about ANYTHING serious when mercury is in retrograde is folly at best. I think you have to be in an extremely healthy relationship to be able to work things through without misunderstandings during this kind of cycle. A couple with issues trying to talk through things might very well feel like they are speaking a different language for all their partner seems to understand them. That experience can be so frustrating and hurtful it’s no wonder relationships break up during retro periods.IP: Logged |

If they're breaking up right now (within the last few days) then they'll be making up soon. Thats par for the course with a Rx Mercury. (I know it feels like forever, but it isn't)AJ, how you doing babe?  IP: Logged |

My boyfriend just broke up with me last night. We had a terrible argument last night. we were just not understanding each other at all and we just got frustrated with each other.But we made up this evening and had a long discussion. So everything is all good now.

There is a tremendous amount happening in the skies at the moment through December. Mars is still retrograde and sitting in a slow square with transiting Saturn...which has now turned retrograde as well!!

It might have something to do with Mars being retro in Taurus.. people just seem a lot angrier and edgier overall.. so they won't let anything slide.My relationship is stable still. I don't honestly see us breaking up ever, though if I have to be realistic.. I’m only 19 so I guess that might happen at some point..but it just seems so unlikely. Venus in Cappy might be good for us, we both have Capricorn moons lol IP: Logged |

Hmmm...this is so interesting because my ex tried to get back in contact.
 I know he has a girlfriend now. It seems he's been compairing her unfavorably to me.
 So maybe they're about to split up.

an wave of breakups coincided with saturn's departune from cancer not so long ago. which, ofcourse, made a lot of sense.i read someplace that 'this is when a relationship either goes to the next level or dies out'. that's what happened to mine  and it was a good thing for the both of us. on the 22nd, saturn became retro in the ego sign leo. maybe it's the time when frustrations come out. I think Nick's wh***ng around is what broke them up. I knew she was going to eventually break it off. He's been caught being a wh*** way to many times. Even way before this. So sad she saved herself for that garbage.My friends boyfriend broke up with her 2 weeks ago. On thanksgiving however I found out she was with him at his mother's house so I guess they made up LOL.
My cousin's boyfriend dumped her also.

cuz im thinkin bout ending a relationship. my moon is also in taurus. the most frustrating relationship i ever had, i dunno y i cant relate to moon in scorpio...so much for opposite attract, its way 2 much work to be "in love" this way, maybe im just not articulate enuf for this guy (virgo sun) he always told me he has deep feelings, i do think he does...but im just a frank, direct speaking gal, i dont want to hurt his feelings then he started act like a major S, then i do things to hurt him back, i think i should just walk away, ur rite when u said moon in taurus DONT GIVE IN, but i think im gonna pass this one, i think im just gonna GIVE UP, and from now on i will run as far as i could with my pinkflipflop if i see another moon in scorpio. maybe it just me cant handle themIP: Logged |

I'm a Taurus moon and just started seeing a Scorpio moon again recently.
I guess things are different. I have a gemini sun and he has a scorp sun.
