Does anyone else with major planets in the 9th house feel like their relationships are going in two directions?

Like my Virgo right now, we fight like mad dogs and I want my independence, but at the same time I want to still be around him, you know? I'm flying from one place to another, but I'd like it if he would tag along. I just don't want a deep, personal relationship. You know... a friend... with benefits.. It sounds selfish, but if he's up for it, I'm up for it. I need my freedom!!

Also, I'd like to know if anyone feels like they can associate with the house their sun is in rather than their actual sun sign. I feel like a Sagi a lot, and people actually mistake me for one.

My 9th house is jam packed in Earthy Taurus. But the actual cusp of my 9th is in Aries. Many other factors indicate an extream need for freedom. What my chart boils down to is difficulies with intimacy. If you love someone you give away a part of yourself. But some distance must be maintained in order to retain your individuality. Your own personality must have room move, and grow. How else can you offer new things - keep the relationship breathing, not stasis, not stagnant. How your 9th house is aspected is also important. Does Saturn make any squares? Oppositions? Saturn can be very restrictive on the 9th if poorly placed. But ultimatly (and this comes from my chart with not 1 but 5 T-squares!) this makes you stronger. Sun/Venus/Mercury,Ceres,Hades,Nessus,Kronos->Taurus 9th house

I can't say anything about the 9th House, as I have no planets occupying it.

But as for the second question about the house our Sun is in...well, mine is in the 7th House. I don't feel particularly Libran - I feel more Arian (my Sun sign). Though, Libra is one of the first signs people guess me to be (Usually only Virgo is guessed more frequently.)

YES! I have Sun Mercury Jupiter Saturn and Pluto in my 9th house. I feel very Sagittarian, too. I feel like the houses matter a lot, the signs almost not at all. Maybe just 9th house Sun people feel this way?????
Also, I'm going through a very similar thing with my "relationship" if you can call it that. We might talk on the phone once or twice a week, if that often. We live in separate states, travel to see each other once in a while: it might be a couple of weeks, it might be over a month that goes by, and I'm perfectly happy with it. As far as I know he is, too. I don't want to get involved in a complicated emotional/commitment thing. Friendship, conversation and sex is quite enough.
