Red flags in a synastry chart include hard aspects and imbalance in the house overlays. If person X has mostly yin houses and planets activated by person Y, then X will feel dependent on Y and easily hurt by Y. This is okay if Y has the same thing, but if Y has mostly yang houses and planets activated it will cause Y to be more indifferent to X, causing X pain and insecurity. (quote from astrologynotes.)

SO WHICH HSE IS YIN (NEGATIVE)
WHICH IS YANG (POSITIVE)

bullhead,

Positive and negative in astrological can be find by starting with Aries (positive) and then continuing to Taurus (negative), etc. continuing around the chart, alternating between positive and negative. Here is a chart of the result:
1rst house Aries Positive
2nd house Taurus Negative
3rd house Gemini Positive
4th house Cancer Negative
5th house Leo Positive
6th house Virgo Negative
7th house Libra Positive
8th house Scorpio Negative
9th house Sagittarius Positive
10th house Capricorn Negative
11th house Aquarius Positive
12th house Pisces Negative

Postive/Negative can be more helpfully (and less judgmentally) termed "Active" and "Receptive".

This chart is available here: http://www.astrology-online.com/about.htm

Explaining the basics,

Tim

This doesn't work for my ex boyfriend and I. He was completely pressed for me, and I definitely wore the pants in that relationship, and eventually broke his heart. He hasn't had a girlfriend since me.

His planets in my houses:
Sun - 2nd
Moon - 6th
Mercury - 2nd
Venus - 12th
Mars - 10th
Jupiter - 12th
Saturn - 7th
Uranus - 7th
Neptune - 7th
Pluto - 5th
Total Yin Planets: 6

My Planets in his houses:
Sun - 5th
Moon - 1st
Mercury - 5th
Venus - 7th
Mars - 3rd
Jupiter - 7th
Saturn - 4th
Uranus - 4th
Neptune - 4th
Pluto - 2nd
Totaly Yin Planets: 4

The most important houses in romantic relationships are (in order): 7th, 5th, 4th, 10th, 1st, 8th.
