I have always had my chart done regularly (aka not equal house) however, for fun one day i decided to do my chart according to equal-
Now, my 8th house Sun (in Cap) is in the 7th house....along with 3 other planets that remained in the 7th.

My moon, instead of in the 12th is now in the 11th.

I am not sure what to make of this...the sun in the 7th means that I am in a sense glued to people right? (or is that moon in the 7th?) And the Moon means that in general I get along with people and organizations....

Add this with the Jup, Nep, and Mer and this must mean I am SUPER glued to people...

So essentially, does this mean that, according to this chart I am a VERY social person? And my entire life revolves around people? And the connections I make to them? (Gemini Rising too!)

My midheaven, once Pisces is now Aquarius as well...BIG changes! Does mean that my career will involve becoming more detached from people?

This so interesting!

Any thoughts?

geminirising26....

I have often wondered this myself...
my chart done the regular way... gives me a 7th house stellium in Virgo (sun, merc, venus)... you can also throw jupiter in the 7th but in Leo.... this makes for a relationship junkie...which i am...

now, using equal houses puts sun, merc, venus, uranus, pluto in virgo in the 8th... ye gads... this does not fit... my pluto and uranus are in the 8th either way and although i tend to be Scopionic in many ways .... Neptune and Mars.... i think the 8th house would make me more introverted... and i am not... so i don't know... i guess for the most part, at least here, the placidius method is the most common way to erect a chart......

Stargazer-

Hmm....now I am wondering if the equal house system has a tendency to put more planets in certain areas-
Perhaps fiddling around with the 8th and 7th areas?

For me, my chart has become the "excessive"-
Sun AND Jupiter in the 7th? Along with Merc and Nep? Ok....I guess?

I wonder if there are others who simply go by the equal house system here only. I'd like to know why.

Anyway, thanks for the reply!
