maybe the answer lies in your chart .. and some elaboration of the situation might help ..
i.e. your chart .. their chart .. male? female? .. what ages? .. what's your motivation towards said taurus? .. are they a romantic attraction ?? .. business partner ??

generaly taurus doesn't need words to communicate ..
but silence on purpose often indicates anger ..
.. if it's not anger .. then it may be a case of needing time to think and answer ..
.. pushing for an answer .. not a good idea ..

Is very true too.

In any case Taurus reacts badly to any kind of perceived verbal abuse or emotional pressure and will painfully detach from anyone abusive.

Taurus wants loyalty above all, even if you are destructive, he will take you first if you are loyal to a fault to the people around you. Always make open ended plans, be confident, drive your train, let him lean on you, do not depend on him for your plans, and be independent in thought.

If you say you are going somewhere, the first thing I would think is who with? So you may want to say something like I am going to the store, want anything? or come along? You never can guess what a Taurus is going to do as we don't like to be second guessed ourselves.

Taurus can be very unpredictable, moody, and energetic once we get started so it's best to expect a strong start in some direction, the question is which direction will you push us towards??

Anyway, yes Taurus does distrust, and acts suspicious, they are like Capricorns, so we do not have INSTANT faith and trust in someone new. You can come around and try to win our hearts, but we are not happy with people who come around and try to grab us with a wink, a smile and an empty compliment. Nothing makes me more suspicious than a summer friend who wants my trust and full attention.

If someone comes into a room and wants me to focus on him, it irritates me, I do not like anyone that proud.

Taurus is also more proud than LEO and that's really proud.

She doesnt talk much (when she talks it mostly orders) she loves food, loves to cook, and loves to feed people. She's stubborn and jealous. And she cant hide her jealousy.

She's even jealous that I dare spend more time or talk more to my friends than I do to her. And she has 6 kids to go around!

Being a bull, and my boyfriend being even more of a bull, any silences are pensive ones- usually out of indesicion. There can be a bit of 'mulling things over' I suppose.

My friends think I have a short attention span, which may or may not be true. It irritates them because I don't respond to their problems as quickly as they can respond to mine. I have a stellium in Taurus (Sun, Mercury, and Mars) so I am reeeeeeally "slow" to arrive at conclusions. Anyway, a week later, I'll be like, "So I thought about what you said last week ... and I think you should do this..."---when the problem is no longer relevant!
