Just noticed something.

I have a Singleton - Uranus in Leo (only Fire)...

AND my Sun is in the 5th House

Anyone have any thoughts? I'd like to think that the placement of my Sun in the 5th makes intensifies that Singleton. It would make the Singleton even MORE noticeable.

Interesting notion. Is it like Sun is expressing your Uranian nature? That instead of 'running away with a chart' your singleton can run directly to Sun?

Exactly! You got it... that's what I mean. Cuz although I have a Scorpio Stellium, and a Cancer Moon, I have always been able to relate to stuff Aquarians relate to. It could also be my MC & South Node in Aquarius. But that wouldn't in themselves be able to offset all that emotion running through me, eh? Or could it, since I'm a Libra ...

That Uranus in Leo Singleton I have makes me very "Sandra Bullock-like". She's Leo with Aquarius Moon. Like if you see the movie Miss Congeniality, it's me. There's a bit of the passive-aggressive in that character, but not towards people, towards the state of the "norm". Authority and expectations society have of us. I think Sandra really is that way too in her own life. And then it was confirmed to me when she hooked up with her hubby Jesse James.

Another person I relate to so well is Lisa Marie Presley. She is an Aquarius with Leo Ascendent. She too has a steady and thoughtful rebelliousness when it comes to the state of the "norm". The lyrics in her songs really reach down to the depths of my heart and soul.

As for more Leo influence in me, I also have my North Node in Leo. But that doesn't make me feisty. My Stellium takes care of that.

Singletons are as norm unruly and resent sharing spaece within the chart. They're competitive with other energies in the chart rather than cooperative - they want to express themsevles without compromise. They're already as intense as they can probably get. The question is in your case in not if your Sun intensifies your singelton, but whether your Sun gets in your singelton's way or not.

Your Sun is dignified in the 5th. By house disposition, it rules itself and by sign disposition it rules your Uranus. This doesn't intensify your Uranus - it impedes it. Your Sun's serious competition for your Uranus, so it's not a body Uranus can easy bully out of way. Any form of disposition over a singleton is an obstacle for that singelton to express itself and dominant the chart, for better or worse. In your case, with your Sun being both a luminary and dignified, it can readily stand up to your singleton, making it harder for your singleton to express itself. So actually, rather than intensifying your Uranus, you Sun has more leverage to keep it in line.

I suspect for you this may feel like you have a "second self" that is very Uranian in quality that seem eager to express itself but is often in shadows. Or if it does express itself, your Libran Sun qualities rush in to take back control. That "second self" would feel rather intense, simply because it's rooted in your singleton's need to express itself without compromise.

A side note: another thing to look at is any bodies or points in Aqua or the 11th - these would be ruled by your Uranus singelton. In this case, your singleton *would* intensify those bodies. This would also carrying over into synastry, should you have aspects with someone's Aqua placement, or their bodies/points fall in your 11th.

Excellent take Gemini Nymph! Very thorough analysis, and easy for me to grasp.

I see what you mean about the Singleton fighting for it's own space. It can't really get on with my Sun in the 5th, so there is that unspoken side of me which needs expression. Yes! No wonder I could relate to the passive-aggressiveness of Miss Congeniality!!!

So the Uranus Singleton combined with my MC & South Node in Aquarius really does create a unique relationship with others who have Aquarian and/or 11th House influences. I have no Planets in my 11th House.

Also wanted to mention my Natal Aspects to Uranus since it seems like it would matter more than ever now. If you or anyone else has more to share on this too, any insights would be very much appreciated :::

Mars Sextile Uranus
Jupiter Quincunx Uranus
Uranus Square Ascendant (more frustration?)

Thanks...

Very interesting discussion, thank you both. I have three singletons and I don't grasp them at all. So, every nugget helps.

You do have a magnetic personality AJ which draws people to you, Leo, Sun, or 5th house singletons offer inspiration to others.

Thank you very much for the kind words, Natasha. It's still a bit of a foreign notion to me ... but it's good to know I must be doing something right when I can.
