Cancers are really funny though, they don't exactly play hard-to-get, but if they like someone, they'll talk to everyone in the room besides them (the someone they like) Its funny to watch, really.

I know some gemini's who play kind of hard to get and I've a piscean friend who tries playing hard to get sometimes.

Cancers are hard to get for me too, but when I am leaving they are all warmth and affection. Possibly due to Venus in Leo which is proud-I got a taste of my own with Cancer too-they like emotional commitment, but are not as good with the back and forth as I would like.

I feel Cancers make great friends and it's not a tease-but I need the signs of commitment right away or I will not commit physically, I know too well how Cancers males prefer to take care of the woman, meaning how some sort of unequal partnership is preferred. This is fine but I believe if you get to know someone and it's not going to be like that right away, there is no sense in trying to change that person.

So a lot of time when someone plays hard to get it's because he or she wants to be changed or wants to change someone-

Geminis around me want to know me, fix me, understand me, and change me, so it FEELS hard to get. Actually a Gemini is easy to have if you settle down a bit, make your schedule normal, and then let yourself be fixed and fidgeted with a bit without getting irritated, and of course be grateful and lovable. I think I would have to be drunk part of the time but it's never easy.

Hesitancy makes a person hard to get, and real or imagined problems.

But it's true. Of all the Signs, they really do this a lot. I have two other Signs in mind too, but maybe it's because Gemini's always need to feel intellectually equal, if not superior. They do play mental game A LOT, and it can be really fun if you're game. But if you are a Gemini who likes someone, but you don't ever want to be sappy and tired about it, you'll hold back to sort of keep the ball rolling for a length of time. It's like foreplay to them.

The other Sign that comes to mind is Capricorn, and that would include Cappy Mooners. It has to do with their relationship with their mothers (...ducking...)

And then I'd say from what I've observed, the next likely would be Pisces, if we're talking about men. It's like foreplay to them too.

I play harder to get now because I have had bitter experiences with men, because every single Gemini woman is bound to have a plethora of partners in her history, and more than a few dozen bad men from lying swindling stock brokers to former murderers on parole...

Another reason I feel Gemini women play hard to get is that it is stimulating, and the truth is, men just like it sometimes, even if they are not willing to admit it. I know plenty of men who will get really turned off , unintentionally or intentionally, if a woman is too easily accessible. Call it rules of the game I guess.

Another final reason would be, the kind of men I am interested in, NEED the hard to get game to be played. Fire men for instance, really enjoy a woman who is sometimes there and sometimes not, always challenging and stimulating, never suffocating. Naturally air fans fire, and its not by standing still. Those moments when you think the air is blowing too strong, too many directions, and it will blow the fire out...then when they stand still together and the air is warmed. Fire and air really need to play that chase game to be as wholly together as possible. Besides that, Ive found the hard to get game is not considered good by water types in general, they play 'other' games...of a more emotional kind.

Lovelight, I don't mean to sound snobby, but I have never really 'lost' a suitor from playing hard to get. On the contrary, Ive lost them in the past by being too clingy (venus opp. pluto, venus in the seventh). For the past few yrs I have not been able to get rid of the pack, the good ones and the bad ones...although I have been divorced and become more bitter and more vocal, and also much more 'harder to get'. Maybe men like that.
