Funny, I am feeling better than ever, and yet I haven't had a hug in ages. People ask me if I miss having physical contact after separating and I really don't, I can take it or leave it. Lately I am also better able to see people for what they are and detach myself from their problems. I look at a number of guys and their personalities and think, it's a pretty huge trade-off having to put up with all their idiosyncrasies/problems most of the time, in return for a comparatively small amount of sex. And somehow dating seems like drawing names out of a hat!! I'm also enjoying being really unsociable and locking myself away in my room doing my work (I'm an artist). I get just as much of a physical turn-on from doing my work as I do from sex. It's funny how lots of people bang on about sex and, to be honest, I wonder how much most people get - probably not a lot, on average. We're all conditioned to believe it's the be-all and end-all. Do you think the reason for what I'm currently thinking could be Saturn wreaking its magic? AT IP: Logged |

I'm about to go explore Zala's links, so bear with me if what I write is mentioned there..It makes sense to me that the creative energies of Leo would find focus and discipline with Saturn. "The artists retreats" could almost be a nickname for Saturn in Leo. It sounds to me like you are in a good place- you don't sound like a bitter person trying to cover up their loneliness "seriously, I don't need sex!". You sound like somebody who is living half the time in the physical world, and spending the other half floating in the possibilities of creative art. And dating? Meh.. I never liked it. It often feels like a ridiculous charade.. I've avoided it all of my life and yet I still manage to get lots of sex and even mind-blowing love on occasion. Dating is quite unnecessary! glad you're well! P.S.

funny you should say that! Just last night I was listening to some incredible music and painting and I experienced something akin to an orgasm! It was wonderful. So I know what you mean.
