We probably had a discussion over the TRANSITING Grand Quintile back in October 2004, cuz there's TONS of infomation on that. But I cannot find info on a Grand Quintile in a NATAL CHART.

"Grand Quintile:

A very rare pattern of 5 or more planets separted by 72 degree aspects (quintiles) that lie in a 5 pointed star design. Rather quirky and creative energies that defy classification in good/bad terms. Can feel like a "higher intelligence" is taking over which we need to attune to."

I haven't found anything on this. I was poise with that challenge when this chart came to me:

I can tell you this guy is pretty quirky and does in fact have a very high intelligence. He's had a very unique life path, but one with many challenges and a lot of tension. He makes enemies easily, and can could across as abrasive to some, while other see a completely different person - generous, gracious and affaible.

It is very rare - I had never seen it before in a chart.

My Grandmother has three of the five Qs in her chart...and two quincuxes??(sp?)forming to make her pattern ALMOST look like the Grand Quintile.

May 29, 1925
St. Charles, Missouri, USA

I found some information about it last fall. I didn't keep it though.. just read it over the phone to her and listened to her laugh. She is VERY high strung, and very intelligent. She's 80 years old, and still manages to walk over an hour a day for exercise... and get out and socialize. She doesn't sit down. It's very hard for her to make up her mind... over half of the items she purchases at retail stores (excluding food) get returned. She had a difficult childhood. She also comes off as abrasive to people; once someone gets to know her though, they generally ignore her bossiness/loudness. She's well loved.

All of these are characteristics I found when I read about the Grand Quintile. I'm sorry that I don't have the link anymore.

I almost have this aspect but my moon doesn't aspect my pluto so its a no go. But I think some one born a day or two before I was might have this aspect cause the moon would be in the proper place.
