I just wanted to give these people a little much deserved recognition. I have been going through some pretty crazy things in my life... The one person in my immediate environment (even she lives in Hawaii at the present) that really stopped to listen... showed genuine concern and gave me unfluttered caring advice, was a Leo sun. I can be in a horrible emotional/mental state... but once I hang the phone up with this woman I feel like everything will really be alright... I'm ready to take on the world. She admits the same about me. There is so much more to these people than just hair and ego. Funny thing is that when I was a teenager, I couldn't stand her. She's 15 years older than I am... I thought she was really just full of herself. This is where astrology has helped me. I learned just a little about the Leo personality... I love it. It's wonderful... and so is she. ___________________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. IP: Logged |

I'm glad that your experience with a Leo has been so fortunate, but I can't say I've had the same in my own. I've attracted a number of Leos into my life, thought astrologically, I can't see why, and it's always ended in the same way. I found that I seem to be catalyst for changes in their lives (I know it sounds narcissistic but it's true)and once they discovered greener pastures, they left me in the cold with no warning. This has occurred with romantic partners as well as friendships. I admit I let them take advantage of my willingness to help them sort through their troubles, but that wasn't reciprocated. It was too much about them with very little concern for others. As well, the Leos I've encountered were quite shallow and appearance oriented and it was a bit hard to swallow. One particular Leo was cruel, selfish, manipulative, petty, insecure, a liar, and incredibly immature and because of him, I've had trust issues ever since. I am very well aware of the positive traits of this sign, but I have to say, many of those were not extended to me during my time with my ex Leo friends. I've grown quite weary since, but am not adverse to meeting another one who might reverse some of those feelings I have. On another note, I can't help but notice the number of Scorpio/Leo relationships in the world. I've once heard Leos referred to as Scorpios-in-training. Could there be any truth in that? IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear you had such bad experiences. Well, maybe I shouldn't have made such a blanket statement. Not all of any sign is great or bad. I've met a few people that are just as you described the Leos... they were astrologically all over the place. Well... this Leo woman that I know is pretty great. She has shown me the wonderful qualities in which a Leo sun owns if they choose to harness them. Edited - Didn't see your post Jwhop. Sorry. _______________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. IP: Logged |

1scorp/mariangela ~I guess I’ve been fortunate enough to meet up with the more evolved species of Big Cats….. I spent four years with a Leo Sun, Scorpio Rising/Scorp Moon – and I’ve never met someone with more zest for life. Responsible, hardworking, generous to a fault….. Spent 3 years with a Leo Sun, Cap Rising/Pisces Moon – same traits as the first but a bit more dreamy and intuitive….. I can see the “Scorpios-in-Training” part, especially on the intensity front, and ooooh did they both have luscious manes! ‘Zala IP: Logged |

its not a joke, my leo gf all she care bout is her hair, i swear, she can spend whole hour asking me wht she should do with her hair (everytime!) o no, sometimes she does talk bout wht beauty care products she saw online and on tv. she would buy everything and try. she is very generous though, everytime she go off trip will bring me little gifts, when i was out of job always bought me for dinner. i like the fact that she is very strong and very ambitous, she likes me to pick clothes for her, i always forget her bday, she always remember mine. so i have nothing on her. lol. after all, its cool to have a leo as a gf, she remind me of another leo gf, never never get mad at me. dats kool bout them. but i dont think i can date any leo, their feeling get hurt way 2 easily, and i had experience with venus in leo, i dont think i can go for sun in leos. 2 much egossssIP: Logged |

Thanks for the accolades, 1scorp - you know we luv 'em Ok, so what do you want? j/k Seriously, I don't care for the way Leos are stereotyped, just as every other sign doesn't care for the stereotype of their own sign. Why do stereotypes always seem to amplify the negative? Why? I think if you've had nothing but bad experiences with a certain sign, you must be a magnet for the unevolved variety of that sign. If that's the case, you have to wonder why. I've known Leos who really rub me the wrong way, and I've known Leos who I try to fashion myself after. Not in an esthetic sense, but in character. The thing is, no sign is bad or good, they are all BOTH, in varying degrees, and in varying ways. I can't say this enough. IP: Logged |

Like I said, I am aware of the positive traits of this sign and don't particularly adhere to any stereotypes. The characteristics of the people I encountered (and no, I wasn't speaking for an entire sign because I don't do generalizations, but of the people I was involved with) were things I noticed long before I grew interested in astrology. I'm sorry if you were offended by what I wrote, but I was expressing an opinion and I said that I was willing to be shown different sides if given the chance. You may be right about exploring the reasons why I may attract a certain folk, but the implications you made because of my opinion were a bit unkind. IP: Logged |

What implications? I wasn't directing my post at anyone in particular, I was speaking in a general sense. No offence taken to what you said, Mariangela. That was your experience with Leos. I don't doubt that. As long as you're not writing off an entire sign because of it, that's cool. IP: Logged |

Leos scorpios in training? migth be, i se that the many relaitonships between scorpios and leos have reasons of being, Scorpio has power raw power, the power leo dreams about having, on the other hand Leo know how to use that power, a thing scorpio cant do. Its a thing about convinience they both complement eahother in that aspect. Also i think fixed signs have a strong attraction to other fixed signs IP: Logged | |
