Hello all,Linda Goodmans Star Signs & Sun Signs have recently made their way to me via the cosmos...and I am very happy for them for Linda has taught me alot. But she hasn't solved my problems (not that I expected her too)...anywhose...I am a Libra born on the 15 October1986, the number 6 appears quite alot in my life, so naturally I change what/who I love at the drop of the scales and its getting me into confusion...I hate confusion...could anyone please help me? I just left a boyfriend(A) of 3 years (I am only 19 by the way) for various reasons. (My main being was that he was sexually harrassing me...but I'm sure you don't want the glory details!) Only to fall head over heals not three days later for my boyfriend(B) of 4 years ago who I was only with for 8 months aprox. This was about a month ago...Now I sit around today with absolutely no contact with boy(B) yet constantly thinking of him, tossing the coin if I really do love him. I asked my higher-self if I did and the answer I got was no, although that was my first attempt with communicating to my higher-self so I'm not sure if the message was corrupted by ego's and the likes. (Am I making sense here?) When I heard (actually I saw) "no", I thought to myself 'It can't be true, I want him SO much!' but then I sharply reminded myself that I was an airy Libra...who knows what I really love? Or rather what I really don't love? Its more rare for me NOT to love something. I live with boy(A) still and every day I grow more confident that I do not want to be with him ever again. But less confident that I don't want to be with boy(B) ever again...I don't care about what actually can and will happen, I just wish I knew what I wanted and what would be best so I could work the Universe in my mysterious ways... Another thing somebody may be able to help me with is pointing me to a good place where I could get my full astrology chart... Please any minute detail of help will echo for eternity in my gratitude...I've become a very good see-saw... ------------------ No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. IP: Logged |

If this 34 (earth) year old woman could go back and time and tell her 19 (earth) year old Libra self anything... it would be: Dig deep down into yourself and find the strength to be alone, without a boyfriend/man for five years. Study at college, study your astrology, and grow into the woman you are meant to be. Then, use the fantastic power and energy that you have tended and helped to grow inside and around yourself to send a message out to the Universe that you are ready for the man you REALLY wanted. You can have boyfriends without living with them and having sex with them. You can have relationships with people and learn from them without being in an extremely intimate relationship with them. As I said... this is what I would tell myself, and will tell my daughter. But it may not apply to you. ------------------ "Did you ever get the chance to dance along the light of day?" IP: Logged |

Hey! Thanks for the great response!!I'll look into Scorpio and see what that can do for me. MysticMelody I think that is great advice and I will take it on board, because thats what I tell myself (a new years resolution in fact) to not get caught up with boys! astro junkie ... as in my birth info 15th October 1986 at 7ish p.m. Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Thanks again ------------------ No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. Welcome, ConstanceOoooh.. Libra w/ Pisces moon.. can you say indecisive? here's you: (from astro.com)
Planetary positions planet sign Sun Libra Moon Pisces Mercury Scorpio Venus Scorpio Mars Aquarius Jupiter Pisces Saturn Sagittarius Uranus Sagittarius Neptune Capricorn Pluto Scorpio North Node Aries House positions (Placidus) Ascendant Taurus 07°57'56 2nd House Gemini 07°05'11 3rd House Cancer 08°07'43 Imum Coeli Leo 10°41'09 5th House Virgo 12°58'15 6th House Libra 12°25'47 Descendant Scorpio 07°57'56 8th House Sagittarius 07°05'11 9th House Capricorn 08°07'43 Medium Coeli Aquarius 10°41'09 11th House Pisces 12°58'15 12th House Aries 12°25'47 Major aspects Sun Quincunx Moon 1°07 Sun Sextile Uranus 2°23 Moon Trine Mercury 7°37 Moon Trine Venus 2°27 Moon Square Uranus 3°30 Mercury Conjunction Venus 5°10 Mercury Trine Jupiter 1°17 Mars Sextile Saturn 3°05 Mars Square Pluto 3°07 Mars Square Ascendant 4°25 Jupiter Square Uranus 5°24 Jupiter Sextile Ascendant 5°58 Saturn Quincunx Ascendant 1°19 Neptune Sextile Pluto 3°22 Neptune Trine Ascendant 4°40 Pluto Opposition Ascendant 1°18 ^ The bold bits are parts of your chart that I found very relevant to your question. From your chart, it is evident that there is a great focus on relationships in your life. Libra Sun (as you know from Linda Goodman, Libras are "in love with love"- in a sense, always looking for their partner. But there is a strange contradition inside of them because being an air sign, they also have a very prominent indepedent streak, that they often stifle), Venus in Scorpio in the 7th house (house or partnerships). Scorpio Descendant (the Descendant has to do with the nature of our relationships.. Scorpio is an intense, profound sign, meaning your relationships probably change you in a deep way). The North Node/True Node indicates the karmic lessons of this life, while the South Node represents "past lives", if you will, or simply that which you are abandoning. The signs are always opposite.. and in your case you have Libra SN, Aries NN.. Aries being the sign of independence and fighting for what you want.. in contrast to the Libra/partnership thing. Your NN is also in your 12th house, which is the house of the subconscious, karma, etc. A very important placement. Also- Mars in Aquarius is similar to having Mars/Uranus aspects.. which means a very strong need to be different, rebel against convention.. but I find that it may manifest in a self-destructive way. I feel this placement is important because I have a friend (who is Male- also 19, with very similar placements as you) who is in a very similar situation that you find yourself in.. and he has Mars in Aquarius- and I always felt this had a lot to do with the way his life is going. It's a strange placement.. I feel it brings a sort of constant dissatisfaction, restlessness.. It's important not to ignore the impulses you have to break away from everyting old, and your Libra placements may make you want to quiet those thoughts.. you shouldn't! Where they take you may be very important for your evolution. Moon square Uranus is similar to this.. a certain restlessness to your emotions, disruptive and sudden changes in your moods.. I hope you don't mind that I am saying things about you when you are a complete stranger- it is just odd how much your chart reminds me of this friend of mine. He was in a situation with too many people involved, too much history.. and he decided to go on a solitary journey, following some crazy urge he felt to move.. and he is in a much healthier/happier state now.. however confusing/interesting things have gotten. I feel there is a battle within you between the person who wants to settle for a comfortable, cozy, relationship and another part of you that is calling you away, to leave.. either physically or just mentally. Anyways, hope that helps. Now that I've posted your info I'm sure you'll get more comments. Take care, wr IP: Logged |

Morrow whiterabbit!Cheers for your very spot on description of myself and I don’t mind at all what you have to say it was well appreciated! “Moon square Uranus is similar to this.. a certain restlessness to your emotions, disruptive and sudden changes in your moods...” This is very true, I’ve spent the greater part of my life believing (being told, rather) I was bipolar and slightly mental...then I found Linda!..I’ve always wondered what Node meant, because I’m new to this, the detailed aspects are still eluding me. So it might please you to know that you’ve answered more questions that I actually asked. Thanks be to your great fountain of knowledge . I’ve always believed that my karmic destiny would be relationship orintated (well for as long as I’ve believed in Karma, anyway) seeing as all the great mountains of problems i’ve climbed in my life were all relationship related...and it pleases me to know that I’ve done very well in keeping things balanced without the knowledge of Karma. And about rebellion, I’m a highschool drop out...that was a very self destructive rebel! Spot on again whiterabbit! As for your advice on not fighting my impulses, I’m glad to of heard that because I’m frequently trying to decide to go along with society or to go along with myself...more often than not I choose myself. I hope that wasn’t too much of a ramble... What I am really trying to get across here, is that you are right about me, I’m very indecisive. But what you said about the solitude and following the crazy urges it what I think I really want to do, its been calling me for a while now and I’m ready to follow in your friends footsteps. I consulted the tarot (just one card) last night about whether or not I should contact boy(B) and tell him that he has been on my mind. I got The Moon, which I took as sleep on it first, then if I really want to tell him. I have to be prepared for dejection and an emotional time...so today I am preparing because I slept on it (barely, its starting to cost me precious sleeeep!) and I need to get it off my chest. Emotional roller coaster here I come. Todays mantra is...I am ready, I am stable...and I can live on my own!!!!! Thank you very much for your post. It was wise and helpful!!! ! IP: Logged |

glad I could help, Constance. You will find that exploring your birth chart on your own could prove very enlightening. Go to www.astro.com (as was already suggested), and from there you can use the countless books and websited available to learn how to interpret everything that's there. Also- stick around this place, I have learned so much by asking questions and reading the discussions on this website. When it comes to Tarot cards- The Moon is also a card of warning, at times, and it can point to illusions. So- you may want to ask yourself- what is real, what is false here. It's surprising how easily answers come once you verbalize them (even only to yourself, in your head) Good luck! IP: Logged |

thanks whiterabbit! That is kind of what I meant by sleeping on it, I had to be sure if I wanted to verbalise my emotions out loud and commit to them. And I was, so I did... Boy(B) isn’t impressed haha, I spose he’s sick of my indecisiveness too. But I feel much better and more at peace. Thanks guys, I know now I have a place to go and seek answers with people who aren’t closed minded fools...the light loves ya! IP: Logged |

I thought libra was meant to be the sign of wanting a partnership..which I sort of do, but everytime a man gets close, I freeze up and back peddle faster than a lightening bolt, thats not to mention I'm an utter commitment phobic. I have scorpio heavily in my chart but I do also have Juno square my sun which migth explain it. So as always I guess it is just not as simple as your sun sign IP: Logged |

I find it very interesting that you should say that really, because, before I read Linda all the descriptions of Libras were 'Libras are infatuated with love,' etc etc...that we need to be in a relationship very heavily into commitment, that sorta tripe... I was like 'HOGWASH!" the last thing I want to do is to settle down into a committed relationship when I have the whole world to conquer. Libras are NOT I repeat are NOT obsessed with love! - well this one isn't anyway... Lindas description however was very spot on, if you haven't read it yet you should very well do so...it turned my opinions right around. As for Libras and love, we simply adore things way more easily than other people of other star signs would (I think?). We treasure beauty and we find it in everything...Libra isn't about person to person love or being 'in-love'...it is about fair and even disposal of love and the abundance of which we have to give out...I'm having a bit of trouble choosing the right words here so I hope you understood what I'm trying to say...do you think it has some relevance to you?IP: Logged |

I too have trouble with the typical descriptions of Libra because I'm not typical. I think there are always those of us who are exceptions to the basic descriptions. For example, I could never get a tattoo of a Libra on me cuz it just doesn't feel like it fits. I've have a Scorpio Stellium, have strong Uranus influences, I have a f**cked up Moon/Saturn Opposition with strong Aspects to Saturn, my Sun is in the 5th House, and my NN is in Leo. I'm complicated to say the least. It's more than about finding balance. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

Constance,I like that name. My name is Conor and I think they are related. Anyway. Post #2 in this thread from WilsonTC is a great place to start understanding the astrological chart and the house systems. It's really a good method. I learned by reading a lot and asking questions when they arose. This thread has 99% of any info you will ever need. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006272.html IP: Logged |

Constance isn't actually my real name. On some levels I wish it was...but it has its disadvantages...and Conner (sorry I forgot how many 'n's I hope I'm right) is a lot like it. The only similar masculine name I think...I tried Lexigraming Constance today...I haven't come up with anything yet P.S. Thanks for the link IP: Logged |
