Never asked this before because it felt a bit cheeky.

But I am going through a lot of changes and am finding out a lot about myself.

Was hoping that some of you experts out there might be able to give an objective astrological opinion. I want to be aware of my inherent weaknesses and strengths so I can focus on really growing mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Also, can someone tell me where I can learn about current transits and the like as I have only really used astrology to understand others in the way they work (and attempted this with myself). Also orbs and such.

I really would be very grateful.

Wow Gem Girl, you'll make a guy blush.

I know that Mercury in Aquarius makes me able to see how life and people are structured, allowing me to see where they are coming from. It think it lets me be intellectually detached which is so so nessecary with all my water.

In terms of relating to women I just don't know. I guess I can be aloof in one way and always like talking to women in a way I know other men don't. I try to meet you on your level and communicate in the way you feel most comfortable.

I think women appreciate my honesty. I just don't have time for games. Not when I can see things so clearly. Means I know how complicated and deep life is without having to add my own drama to the mix.

Swerve,

You asked:

quote:
I want to be aware of my inherent weaknesses and strengths so I can focus on really growing mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

First of all, you have three challenging transits occuring at the same time! Transiting (planets in the sky) Saturn (duty, also structure) is going over your birth Saturn focused in the 8th house (transformation, also power), indicating now is a time to structure your power. In addition, Uranus (friends, also restructuring) will be conjuncting your Nadir (inner world) soon, and forcing you to restructure your "inner sense" of who you are. Finally, Jupiter (expansion, also knowledge) will soon be conjuncting your Ascendant (self), allowing you to open up and know yourself more completely. So you are VERY motivated to transform yourself inside and out!

As you know, any challenging aspect is both a potential problem and a potential benefit. For example, your Uranus (friends, also impulse) square (energy needs to be combined with) Venus (relationships) may tend to have you rushing into relationships, or you may decide to use the energy to form lasting friendships. Similarly Saturn (duty, also restriction) opposite (energy is over-excited by) Venus could cause you to fell "closed-off" from relationships or it could help you to form long-term relationships with your friends. How you use the energy is up to you.

I suggest studying and meditating on the squares, conjunctions, and oppositions in your chart, thinking about what would be the best use for you of this energy in your chart. If you want to brush up on the "key words" for each of your chart energies, you have only to follow the link below!

Encouraging self-exploration and transformation,

Tim

Thanks Tim.

I think I have for too long been searching for "the One" without focusing on building much stronger relationships with both my friends and myself, thus creating a sense of loneliness and desperation by isolating myself.

Very very insightful. A great time of transformation for me.

Thank you so much my friend.

Swerve (oh .. perfect one ... re other thread )

***Especially the Vertex one, you have me intrigued...**

I'm intruged as well ..
'cause i recently figured t.Neptune is conjoining my natal Vertex
right now it be 0.01 degree ... was like that ( i did not know at the time)
when i registered on this site ...

bit late at moment to do any 'charting' ....
but noticed you have a Sat/Venus aspect :

*Venus Opposition Saturn 5°48*
*Venus Square Uranus 4°11 *

those are similar placements to mine
Saturn opp Venus be quite a difficult one to deal with ..
as i guess is the aspect with Uranus ...

anyhow .. will be back here once i get some workout of the way
'later then ..

Swerve -

I wonder how your Pisces & Scorpio influences merge with your Saturn in Cancer placement. Do you think this gives you an easiness with other people? Or is your Sun & Moon helping you project the Saturn in Cancer placement, which can be challenging?

I get the feeling you put yourself out there, but then you'll pull back. Perhaps you're not really sure why that continues regularly, and perhaps it frustrates you that you cannot understand it. Maybe you feel you take 2 steps forward, 10 steps back, that type of thing.

You have a great capacity to connect with others and you can be incredibly generous of yourself, and then there's this insecurity which makes you wonder if you are as wonderful as people seem to think you are.

Let me know if this has any weight to it.

I'd like to try - if you don't mind. Let me know.

You are capable of listening, reading, seeing or speaking about whatever interest may be up for conversation. This helps with your creative ventures as far as expressing/developing/embracing your opinions/views, and most definitely might be the key to finding your mate. I believe you especially find people who are not set in doing things one way or have successful dual lives, if you will - fascinating. You are receptive of most things but if it doesn't bode well with your way of living (past, present or future) it may go in one ear and out the other. I'm not sure if you've realized this yet but if not, it may create havoc on how you relate to your thoughts and feelings of yourself by way of second-guessing or thinking that reflecting what you do not feel comfortable with or believe, that it will make you a "better" person, it won't. I'm not sure if you feel that money talks for you - sometimes people will judge others by their appearance but I feel you feel this way about yourself to which you may be very conscious of what you wear. You may like to give gifts and dress nicely when you feel it is important to how and what you do, want to accomplish and how you feel. Your career life may be ever changing especially if the environment where you work is chaotic and uncomfortable for you or others although it might have taken you a while to realize that if the job sucks, this is why and that you are truly affected if you do not leave this type of atmosphere or relay how you feel about the environment. I believe you are close to deep thinking and possibly controversial characters whose words and ideas may pop up like narrators of the film on your life - which amuses you in your everyday life. You think about and plan your future to coordinate with the family life you would like to have.

Point is - be comfortable with who you are, what you want, how you think and what you say - know yourself but don't think you must put yourself out there to please others - you are highly capable of relaying your opinions, putting your own view on anything placed before you - to reconfigure for another hinders you and is not truly worth it in the long run.

The weight of a 10 ton truck AJ. Insightful to say the least. My inner foundations seem to be strong in expression and intensity but ever-moving, like a floor I can't stand still on. Thats where the insecurity stems from I believe.

I don't just empathise with other people, I literally "become" them. Very unsettling when I never got the chance to create a strong self-image for myself. I am doing that now. Devoting 100% energy to me. If I feel I am concentrating on someone else I bring the energy back to me. This is going to be nessecary for a while yet. The recent turbulence in my life forced me to face myself.

Now I am beginning to create a relationship within based on trust and respect rather than confusion and self-loathing.

Amisha - mind? I am very grateful for your input.

Much of what you said reflects my most recent lessons and the new wisdom I am trying to integrate.

Thanks to both of you.

Saturn trine Moon is a very solid indication of emotional stability.

t.Uranus Trine n.Vertex :

Sudden, illuminating, and fortuitous encounters with fate (either people or events)

btw, dont know if you realize this, but,
you expressed a very buddhist sentiment:
Life is suffering... don't add to it.

Also, thought this might interest you:

In Numerology,
Your Birth Day and Life Path Numbers
are both "Master Numbers"

"They are called Master numbers because they possess more potential than other numbers. They are highly charged, difficult to handle, and require time, maturity, and great effort to integrate into one's personality."

Life Path:

"This Master number is a channel between the sub-conscious and the conscious mind. Highly charged. Can be neurotic...

"The 11 is the most intuitive of all numbers. It represents illumination; a channel to the subconscious; insight without rational thought; and sensitivity, nervous energy, shyness, and impracticality. It is a dreamer. The 11 has all the aspects of the 2, enhanced and charged with charisma, leadership, and inspiration. It is a number with inborn duality, which creates dynamism, inner conflict, and other catalyses with its mere presence. It is a number that, when not focused on some goal beyond itself, can be turned inward to create fears and phobias. The 11 walks the edge between greatness and self-destruction. Its potential for growth, stability, and personal power lies in its acceptance of intuitive understanding, and of spiritual truths. For the 11, such peace is not found so much in logic, but in faith. It is the psychic's number."

Birth Day:

22 The Master Builder

"This Master number is demanding and obsessive, it can push you to the edge. Much progress is possible. A need to devote yourself to something larger than life...

"22 is the most powerful of all numbers. It is often called the Master Builder. The 22 can turn the most ambitious of dreams into reality. It is potentially the most successful of all numbers. It has many of the inspirational insights of the 11, combined with the practicality and methodical nature of the 4. It is unlimited, yet disciplined. It sees the archetype, and brings it down to earth in some material form. It has big ideas, great plans, idealism, leadership, and enormous self-confidence. If not practical, the 22s waste their potential. Like the 11, the 22 can easily shrink from its own ambition, causing difficult interior pressures. Both the 11 and the 22 experience the pressure-cooker effect very strongly, particularly at an early age. It must work toward the realization of goals that are larger than personal ambition. The 22 serves the world in a practical way."

Thanks HSC!

Feels like a lot pressure with those numbers!

Guess I need to sort myself out and create my own destiny.

Great input mate.

OK... I hope what I said is helpful and encouraging in some way, rather than affecting you in a negative way. Just remember that sometimes the real game is not about figuring out how you are graded in the "love" factor, but it becomes more about once you are out there doing your thing, that you are lucky enough to connect with someone good for you. Know what I mean? That's why it's so important to get past all that, cuz once you DO get past it, the real work begins!

Wishing you the best.

You're welcome.

I am always reluctant to offer advice, particularly to someone who appears to be experiencing something well beyond my own range of experience.
Words have such power.

I would ask you not to place any undue pressure upon yourself,
but, I wonder if that is not what they said to Jonathan Seagull,
when he dared to fly at "undue" speeds.

Perhaps the greatest miracle of Christ,
was when he refused to come down from the cross.

I think you probably know what you're doing a sight better than I do (know what I'm doing)....

Just love yourself.

It always begins with the individual.

Loving well yourself, you love your family;
loving well your family, you love your friends;
loving well your friends, you love your community;
loving well your community, you love your country;
loving well your country, you love the Occidental;
loving well the Occidental, you love the World;
loving well the World, you love the Natural Universe;
loving well the Natural Universe, you love the Creator-Sustainer-Tansformer;
loving well the Creator-Sustainer-Transformer, you love the Emptiness.

And from the Emptiness is born the Indivivual.

(Love Yourself.)

The Virgin has "ladyfingers,.. kidgloves,.. heart."

This is how you give birth to a King.
