New Moon in Aquarius

Aquarius is often thought of as a visionary. When we vision, we look beyond the norm and question accepted truths. We boldly claim originality and fly in the face of reason; questioning everything and refusing to blindly follow the dictates of others. This is the New Moon for radical change. And what an overwhelming Aquarius New Moon this will be with the Chiron/Sun/Moon/Mercury/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius opposing a retrograde Saturn in Leo. If there was ever was a time to shift out of old thinking and into new ideas this is it. Aquarius rules "WHY NOT?", and this is where your attitude needs to be when you engage in ritual for this New Moon. Any hesitance, doubt, or second-guessing should be forsworn in favor of a radical openness to revelation. I know a surgeon who claims that each new year he spontaneously "intuits" the overall theme for that year. At the end of December he told me that 2006 will be a year of adventure. I immediately resonated with his revelation and decided to share it with all of you on this adventurous Aquarius New Moon: Chinese New Year, the Year of the Dog.

Saw the Moon in with the 'transiting clump' (thanks AJ! ) this morning, but didn't make the connection that the glyph was right next to the Sun! Still not too late for New Moon Wishes etc.
