This is your chance

SKYWATCH JANUARY 29 2006

If you've had a bit of an ego battle with someone recently, this
week it's time to move on. After every battle comes the aftermath.
Someone wins and their opponent loses. Whether you've emerged
victorious or not, use the New Moon this week to forget and start
again. There are some important lessons to be learned – inculcate
them and go to the next level.

For many of us, dramas now will be related back to the end of
November, when Venus entered her retrograde phase. If you had a
slightly touchy issue you needed to sort out re love or cash,
chances are you've have just about all the opportunities this cycle
has to offer you. If you still haven't made the most of them, act
now. If you're still wondering how to tackle a tricky love or money
matter, tap into Venus - use your peace making skills, bring out
your inner diplomat, be prepared to seriously negotiate.

For others, what's going on now actually relates a whole lot further
back in time – to 2003. That's when the wounded healer planetoid
Chiron was in the same spot that Venus is in now. Without blinding
you with astro-reasons, just know that there is a chance now to
really heal a wound that was opened then. This could happen because
you take the initiative and you make it happen, or it could work out
magically by itself.

Venus will stop going backwards this week and won't go into another
retrograde phase until August 2007, when she'll back peddle through
Virgo and Leo.

By now, too, you should have a clearer sense of what you really
value and of how much you're getting from your most important
relationships and your work. This is all very well, but remember the
New Moon this week, which takes place opposite Saturn, is about
taking the lessons you've learned recently on board. What do you now
know and how is that going to influence you?
