What is the diffence in the two if anyone can tell me. Also n this transit what types
of things occurr.Also what if two ppl invoved both are having this transit, just opposite as I put it in the topic.. IP: Logged |

Mama Mia -Someone linked us to an article a few weeks ago which explained this, but don't think I can find the link. Let me see if I can reiterate. When you see a list of Aspects generated, they are usually in the order of Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, etc. So you would read, "Sun Conjunct Neptune" instead of "Neptune Conjunct Sun". Although you would see "Sun Conj Neptune", you are NOT saying that the Sun is modifying Neptune. You are saying that Neptune is modifying the Sun. Another example: "Venus Square Pluto" is saying that Venus is minding it's own business, and Pluto is modifying it, making Venus more prone to Pluto's influence, rather than the other way around. Does that make sense? The Slower Planet modifies the faster Planets. I'm just summarizing, I'm sure there's more. ------------------

I have transiting neptune conjunct my natal mercury now and it is brutal!!!! Within the next month Neptune will be conjunct my Venus and Jupiter!!!IP: Logged |

Neptune (spirituality, also confusion) conjunct (energy is combined with) Mercury (thinking) can create confused thinking. This is because Neptune "spirituality" is achieved by "dissolving" everything it touches. So, in this case, Neptune dissolves the barriers between the person and others in matters of thinking. This can make it VERY confusing separating out their OWN thoughts from OTHER PEOPLE'S thoughts. In terms of the length of a transit (planets moving around you), the length of the transit depends on the speed of the transit. Mercury is one of the fastest moving planets, so a Mercury transit is over very quickly. Neptune, however, moves VERY slowly, so a Neptune transit can last for years before it is fully completed!
