Topic: The Urge to Protect?

What aspects in two people's chart would make them extremely protective of each other? Beyond Venus or "love" --what is that? I am not speaking of possessiveness; this is different. It's rather like an urgent need to be in the other's corner, to standup for them, to fight battles for them, to inspire. I have that for D. And I realized a few days ago when I was recounting something that happened to me and he suddenly quipped up, "Who's not in your corner? tell me I want to know..." That we both had that protector thing going. The only thing I am coming up with right now-is possibly the SUN tight conjunct to South Node...or the Chiron conjunct Chiron/Venus/Eros.... IP: Logged |

that sounds Arien(1stH) in nature to me ...
i don't havn't a clue what aspects between a couple would do that ..
are you same Suns ?? same Moon ?.. same Venus ?? is Cancer(4thH) in there somewhere ??

My boyfriend is really protective of me (as I am of him -- weird as it may sounds) and we have Sun conjunct Moon, Sun conjunct South Node, and Venus conjunct Eros.I always thought it's because I'm too flighty and he's afraid of losing me...

My Sun is tightly conjunct my love's S. Node....and we have Venus conjunct Eros/Psyche midpoint in my 7th....I think that has more to do with longing though.....
my Sun is in his 4th house....lots of protective vibes...very strong synastry in many areas. Agree with Magi declination Chiron parallel Vesta...we have that one too!! GemStar

Well I do have an Aries Moon and mars in my 4thH. So on my side it may be coming from there periodically. His SUN sits identical on my South Node. I do not consider Pisces aggressive protectors but they have a way of claiming a soul and blocking out predators from you which is intriguing to say the least. My father also has that. It is an odd trait because of the marked flowing passivity.Not sure of the Magi aspects. Have to look at that carefully. I do think that Chiron conjunct someone's Chiron/Venus/Eros would put some healing and understanding there, equal suffering... Of course it could be the conjunct jupiters and ...plus my Jupiter falls in his 1st House and his SUN/MOON midpoint =s my JUPITER which seems to have alot to do with inspiring each other....
