Do you mean Pluto in the 8th house, or Pluto in Scorpio, maybe...?

It isn't possible to have "Pluto in Pluto". You could have Pluto in Scorpio (the sign which is ruled by Pluto). Or Pluto in the 8th house (the house ruled by Pluto).

Pluto could be conjunct Pluto in a synastry chart as well. It may help if you clarify your question.

Oh and regarding nuclear power, it is "Plutonium" that humans use to create nuclear energy. They also use Uranium.

Pluto and Uranus are both considered electric and explosive, with Pluto being the more extreme of the two.

Here's Magi Astrology's definition of Pluto (I love their planetary descriptions!):

quote:
PLUTO is the ruler of sexuality, lust, obsessive desires, and the sex organs. (This overlaps in some ways with Mars, which symbolizes pure physical attraction, but there is a difference.) Pluto is also representative of power; the establishment; and things that enhance or preserce power, such as atomic energyand weapons, politics, great success, big business, corporations, and advertising. Pluto signifies dictatorships and oppression, as well as the state of being oppressive; this leads to Pluto signifying the super ego and undeserved self-esteem. Pluto represents the ingredients of great wealth, such as investments, the banking industry, the loaning of money, the issuance of debt, and the ability to pay it back; as well as most financial instruments, such as bonds and mortgages. It also represents gambling and betting, the trading of financial instruments of all types and profits therefrom. It provides the ability to take advantage of and capitalize on something in order to make a profit. Pluto has dominion over drastic changes that are true upheavals, and in this regard, it represents beginnings and endings. Pluto rules obsessions of all kinds, including emotional and sexual ones. Also, Pluto is ruler of the actual sex act, as opposed to lovemaking and seduction, which are ruled by Venus. Venus seduces you; Pluto simple throws you on the bed and says, “Take off your clothes.” Pluto is, therefore, symbolic of sexism and male chauvinism.

Hexxie: Loved that Signature.

I am curious when Pluto is in Scorpio but I am sure many would have that aspect.

Thank you Freebird! I find it quite fitting for my airy nature hehe

quote:
Astrologers have assigned Pluto's rulership to Scorpio. Pluto travels its fastest in Scorpio, spending only 12 years in that sign, where it spends up to thirty years in the other signs. The planet Earth experienced perihelion between the Sun and Pluto in September of 1989, or its closest contact with that planet, during which time Pluto actually orbited on the inside of Neptune for a while. Here we have felt Pluto at its strongest. This is a convincing argument in itself that Pluto rules Scorpio.
Sexual matters are the main manifestation of Pluto in Scorpio. There was an alarming spread of the AIDS virus. Questions arose and demanded consideration about what constitues safe, responsible sex. Free mores of the 1960s and '70s had revealed a need to concern ourselves with the implications of what we still welcome as more open attitudes about sex.
Sexual violence and rape also came to the fore. Hardly a day went by when there was not some story, great or small, in the newspaper. Pluto in Scorpio challenges people to deal with tension in productive ways. Unfortunately, purpetrators of physical violation find their outlet through aggressive outbursts. Pluto in Scorpio also calls self-esteem into question, with a general helplessness the result. Defences are down all around.
Pluto in Scorpio also had a dramatic impact on religion. Notice the number of cases of sexual abuse that were highlighted within the church. Also notice, on a more positive note, people's increasing interest in discovering the common thread in their fellow human beings and nurturing it for the better rather than, like their ancestors, using it as a noose.
We are challenged to be more responsible toward the welfare of each other without loosing our respect for ourselves. A mixture of directness and compassion is the subtle key. It is an alchemical process, whereby we find the right proportion of allegiance and maverickness, producing wisdom.

mayank-
Pluto is one of the "outer" planets (this group includes Neptune and Uranus, and Jupiter and Saturn to a lesser degree) which are different from the so-called personal planets (Sun,Moon,Venus,Mercury and Mars) in that they have less of a direct effect on the individual and more on the generation as a whole. That is- the SIGN that your Pluto is in does not matter so much as you share this with a whole generation.
However-
the specific location of Pluto in your chart (i.e. the house) IS very significant to you as an individual and any aspects that Pluto makes to your personal planets are also important.

for example- Pluto in the 1st house-
the 1st house rules appearances, how you act in public, and so on.
Having Pluto here may give you a Scorpionic look- intense eyes, speech, deliberate movements. You may have a powerful personality, very magnetic (qualities all associated with Scorpio/Pluto)

another example- Pluto conjunct Venus:
you probably do not take love/romance lightly, you may have some obsessive qualities when in love..

So- if you want to learn more about how Pluto affects you personally- look to its location and aspects. If you want you can post this information for us so we can tell you more.

mayank,

You asked:

quote:
...can any body explain me that what is it if 1 has Pluto in...[Scorpio] Well pluto actually rules Sex & (i am quoting from Linda )"nuclear power" but what does that mean...

You answered your own question! Since Pluto rules Scorpio and Pluto has to do with sex and power, people with Scorpio modifying Pluto have STRONG sexual power. They may try to use their power to transform the world around them to better align with how they believe the world should be! Not surprisingly, with all this power, they can be VERY dangerous if they are deceived or tricked in any way. Be VERY careful what you say and do around people who have Scorpio modifying Pluto!

Plutonically nuclear,

Tim
