Is it normal for Pisces to have all kinds (good/bad) of thoughts?
Don’t equate Thoughts with Piscean fantasy thoughts/dreams as I am treating them different.. our specialty

I find myself full of thoughts (a variety) which encompass all sorts of combinations (possible/impossible/different flavors).
Though bad (don't take literally, maybe selfish is right word) thoughts do flow though the mind, these are immediately discarded due to its nature.

Is it something Piscean or normal for any person to have all sorts of them? (Or am I thinking too much )

Pisces are the most talented and gifted at imagination, they make excellent artists, engineers, nuclear physics, brain surgery, anything that requires imagination, visualization, even programming a computer, managing money, creating a meal. It's a very intelligent sign.

I hear ya Villy. Since you mentioned your thoughts on thoughts, I'm in that state all the time.
sthenri, first time I've heard the word 'intelligient' used for us folk! Thanks! Alot of people think otherwise since it's an odd sort they don't understand.

intelligent .. why not ... where are the Einstein theories ...

One thing I noticed in myself is my intelligence is not spontaneous, which means if some point needs to be debated/argued/explained, I may not be do it properly at that very moment. However after a while (when the situation is gone) after deep thinking I get all the thought clear. Its like slow thinking intelligence … or is it due to the Pisces memory thing (forgetting things when required )

I'm the same way villy. Sometimes I can miss the point, because I'm turning over all the other smaller ones that consist the whole. Once I get everything analyzed, the main point lights up like a beacon.

Yep, I'd agree with that. We're not the most extemporaneous or spontaneous of speakers ... not the most articulate ... but, I can very much relate with what was said there ... I almost always come up with the PERFECT thing to have said well AFTER the fact.

Writing, on the other hand, that flows freely.

lizkin33, me too. i think virgos and pisces have a lot in common, you know, at a certain a level...both signs overanalyzing and driving themselves crazy. anyone agree?

Thanks folks, I am not alone so Liz, our heads won’t explode

Very true, dangveg, writing comes quiet free flowingly. And whalesW, you have hit the nail on the head - “I'm turning over all the other smaller ones that consist the whole. Once I get everything analyzed, the main point lights up like a beacon.”

this is interesting- i can relate to the other pisces' replies very much.

on intelligence: many times in my life, i cannot explain why i come to a conclusion or thought or solution to a problem- it just comes to me - i basically call it intuition. sometimes somebody will say,"why do you think that?" and if i'm not in a particular mode, my explanation will seem really flaky and disjointed.

remember in math courses at school you always had to "show the work"? well, i can rarely do things that way (even in those classes i could answer correctly but i couldn't always show the work!), yet i trust my answers and hunches 100%. i can definitely be wrong- but i'm never too far offtrack.

i think pisces intelligence is intuitive and, for want of a better word, inspired.

its the upside to supposedly being in a dreamworld or that never-neverland we are accused of preferring. to me, its that our minds are open to information in a way that this society doesn't really understand or encourage.

also, other pisces (or anybody), do you find similarities in things others don't see? does a thought occur to you like,"A, D and X! of course! this is clear as day!" and later B,C and E-W do indeed end up all being connected with A, D and X?

taurean-
about virgos & pisces always analyzing- i VERY much agree! i've had two very, very close relationships with virgos (we seemed like twins in a few ways), and in both instances, it was the love of analyzing, turning something around, examining it again, and so on that brought and kept us so close. also, we understood how we would get ourselves stuck in "park" by overanalyzing and not *doing*!

Hi Villy!

Hey, maybe check out your chart for some Taurean or earthy influences...? Cos they they always have a delayed reaction before forming a strong opnion.

Or maybe you're just very good at being objective with things - defintely a good trait

Great Zelda,
Pretty confusing deciphering A,B .. E-W .. and all connected LOL
Frankly haven’t yet started connecting my thoughts (or observing the thought process, which could be first step in thought control – very difficult to achieve such a control over your mind), so many of them to keep track of them that I sometimes feel I am thinking the same thing again-n-again.

FT,
Only planet in Taurus is Chiron and nothing in other earth signs. Thanks, hope it turns out to be a good trait

Hi taurean_scorpion,
Thanks for all that interesting info. my moon is in taurus, and unlike you i have a fair amount of gemini, which i think just means i'll communicate no matter how badly it comes out! ; ) your chart is interesting to me b/c i've been doing my own as well as some family members and we are all weak in the 12th and 1st houses; as well as all being water signs.
My moon is in taurus, and unlike you i have a fair amount of gemini, which i think just means i'll communicate no matter how incomprehensible it is! ; )

You asked:
<<is anyone here good at improvising? >>

YES! in fact, as a child i really, really had to learn how to follow rules ( i wasn't trying to be rebellious, i just always thought there were lots of ways to get something done), how to research before taking on a project, to walk before i ran- you get the picture.

luckily, improvisation wasn't disciplined right out of me, and listening to my gut and improvising have really helped me out in life. the truth is that looking at a problem or goal from several angles helps us see our options, and if we fail at first, that ability to analyze & improvise shows us others ways to get where we want to be.

anybody agree?

villy,

<<Pretty confusing deciphering A,B .. E-W .. and all connected LOL >>
i had a *feeling* you'd write that! ; )

<<Frankly haven’t yet started connecting my thoughts (or observing the thought process, which could be first step in thought control – very difficult to achieve such a control over your mind), so many of them to keep track of them that I sometimes feel I am thinking the same thing again-n-again.>>

Observation, I believe, is the key. Have you tried meditation? I started practicing it so that my emotions wouldn't rule me as much. I needed stability. I think it could help you with your thoughts- also, I found that I learned to weed out the important thoughts (and emotions) from the unneccessary ones. Any sort of mindful relaxation would probably help you. It seems that you are very creative, and its often harder to get a grip on those things- at least that's my opinion.

Keep us informed!

LOL

a year ago, i took this shakespeare class, and my teacher kept telling me to improvise..
i just could not do it! it was so sad. lol he still liked me regardless, because i tried and he liked my voice. anyhow, it was horrible; nothing i did was natural...and since i'm a little shy ( ) that didn't help.
the texts say jupiter in the 12th people might be great acting in general but no, not me. and i don't think my friend w/ this placement is good at either.....he'd rather die, actually.

No Zelda, haven't yet seriously got involved into meditation... probably my emotions (Aries moon) don't rule me so much to cause much instability. Yeah surely it would help. Need to work on it though (weeding out unnecessary thoughts) as it is like waste of time on unnecessary/repitive thoughts, which could be used for something better Then again for us Pisces mindful relaxation is pisces fantasy dreams. Trying to find the balance.

Anyways thanks.

Improvisation - Well its true that I also try looking at a situation (won't call it a problem), from several angles. However it is all before the actual situation taking place, (I mean all the thought process of analysis through different angles happens even if situation doesn't take place in reality). I guess this might be the reason for making us Pisces so cool about things that we don't get much surprised about events and situations. In effect we might not view a problem as a problem seen by others, however just another event.

(Me - Still learning and understanding)

when referring to improvisation, i was thinking of spontaneity, and acting "out of the blue..." it was out of the subject! :/

unless i'm comfortable, i am too shy and my piscean imagination doesn't go to work....
they say we work better "behind the scenes..." and i agree. i'm a humble person and i do not like much attention...i shy away...

ok... then I think for me its bit difficult to be a spontaneous improviser.

Yepp, we shy away from attention and don't like to be proud (some ppl see it as self-confidence issue... might be true in some cases). At the same time there is always inner need in me to have attention, in the sense that people like us and appreciate us n all.
