Is Mars in Scorpio more passionate than Venus in Scorpio? I know that Venus would make you more passionate about how you approach relationships in general, but would it make you passionate IN the relationship? My Sag boyfriend said this to me... quote: "the passion i have toward u, and not even the relationship as whole doesn't seem like its reflected in u as much in that sense and it frustrates me so much"
His placements are Sun in Sagittarius 3rd house Moon in Aquarius 5th house Venus in Sagittarius 3rd house Mars in Scorpio 2nd house Mine are Sun in Scorpio 1st house Moon in Leo 10th house Venus in Scorpio 1st house Mars in Aquarius 4th house I mean, I would think that at least my passion, would be unmeasured next to his. I mean I feel very passionate about him and us, but I'm not just overly expressive about it. I feel its something we know exists so we don't need to flaunt it. However, when it comes to this between a man in a woman in a relationship. Could Mars signify the passion and Venus signify how the relationship works? Cus if that's the case, then maybe it's my Aqua Mars. Here's our composite chart ------------------------------
Ascendant Libra Sun 27 Scorpio 2nd house Moon 7 Scorpio 1st house Mercury 29 Scorpio 2nd house Venus 1 Sagittarius 2nd house Mars 20 Sagittarius 3rd house Jupiter 29 Aquarius 5th house Saturn 5 Sagittarius 2nd house Uranus 19 Sagittarius 3rd house Neptune 3 Capricorn 3rd house Pluto 6 Scorpio 1st house I'm thinking also he may feel more "passionate" because his natal chart makes many conjunctions and positive aspects within our Composite. It actually looks like the same way his Natal chart is. Mine is the chart that's different...

Yeah, it's your Aqua Mars that doesn't want to be expressive about it. Mars in Aqua is still a pretty sexy placement, though.IP: Logged |

A bond with a Scorpio is mostly a silent oneWith sun and venus in the first and in Scorpio... you have probably blinded him... This is why he can not see the reflection...j/k IP: Logged |

alanabelle,One simple way to think of it is Mars is the action and Venus is the attraction. Your boyfriend with Scorpio (transformation, also sex, power) modifying Mars has a sexy, powerful action. You, with Aquarius (friends, also rebellion) modifying Mars have a friendly, sometimes rebellious, action. Since he has Sagittarius (expansion, also wisdom) modifying Venus (attraction), his attraction may be honesty. Perhaps if you explain to him that you are actively friends with everyone but that he is a super-sexy "special friend" he will lighten up a little! Actively friendly, Tim ------------------ For information on basic astrological chart interpretation see: http://www.geocities.com/wilsontctc IP: Logged |

Hi Alanabelle, my boyfriend and i have the following placements and have been living together for 4 years.Me Sun Capricorn Moon Taurus Venus Sagitarius Mars Scorpio Him Sun Libra Moon Gemini Venus Scorpio Mars Virgo There's certainly a lot of passion between us but I think it's shared and also our composite sun, moon, merc, venus & s/node all falls in the 8th house. There are times when I need more freedom, seeing friends, going out, etc. maybe my venus in Sag., and times when he is flighty but not restless, could be his moon. It's strange really because my ex & father of my son (who's also Libra Sun & Scorp Venus)was also a Libra Sun & Scorpio Venus & I never felt that passion towards him but man was he possesive. I've got all of those within myself, just change it from Gemini Moon to Gemini Rising. My moon is nearly Libran - Virgo 29th degree. It is sometimes difficult for me to deal with me. IP: Logged |

yea.. it's interesting how we balance each other out sometimes. i mean if i went by astrology alone (just by looking at the chart) i'd think that thered be no way in HELL that we'd get along...as you can see most of our chart is focused between the 2nd/3rd houses needless to say, we're a very chatty/argumentative couple..and its always about money/personal values. ------------------ Libra Rising, Scorpio Sun, Leo Moon IP: Logged |

AJ, everything is definitely not rosy all the time but we work on things. Also I've got a 7th house stellium & Venus being my chart ruler I supposed these are all contributing factors. We definitely have very different views on life but we are both learning from each, sometimes reluctantly. I've got a Gemini Sun brother & sister and 1 Auquarius sun sister so I've been around air signs all my life.IP: Logged |

I have the same exact placements as you but in different houses, and I know what you mean exactly. Venus in Scorpio passion is not so much openly expressed, it's really a deep thing, like he should be able to tell by the way that you look at him, etc. When you're in love, it consumes you, and with Mars in Aquarius though, being a sign of rebellion, freedom, independence...and moon in Leo signifying pride.. you're very reluctant to let your feelings be known, and probably bad at expressing them because when you do have feelings like that, passion, love, etc... with Mars in aquarius you probably spend so much time thinking yourself out of those feelings, trying to reason, or just plain NOT think about it because you feel it so strongly..so strongly to where you just act funny, there is just something different about you, .. and you don't know what it is you feel sometimes (mars in aquarius...) so you just assume not think about it, and it's deep and really .. intense.... and embarrassing (moon in leo..pride!) ... so you just... don't say anything at all so much... it comes out when you have sex though... and yeahh... when you act funny. I have those same placements and you know, the only time I ever even get turned on REALLY, is when I'm in love... ... ... ... it just.... I don't know, the sex is like... so different, because you are like... well consumed.. with mars in aquarius too, when you don't have a connection with someone, the passion, everything, just isn't there, no motivation, etc... and with aquarius being the sign of extremeeeeee independence (along with the moon in LEO haha! pride... you really don't like being tied down, you like to be able to stand your own grand and hold your own... and you are careful about people getting close to you)..but with aquarius mars, you probably don't mind being alone.. (i don't know if you're at all like me.. but that's cool you have the same placements I do) Mars in Scorpio is more ... blunt about things, cuts right to the point for the most part, forceful (and yeah that can be really hott... but with mars in aquarius... and scorp sun..kind of scary and makes you suspiscious).. Scorpio is renowned for being intense, consuming, sexy, associated with the underworld, sensitive, and intuitive. People I've known with Mars in Scorpio, I don't know if it's just how private Scorpio placements are in general, but I haven't really seen any sensitivity with that placement (I've seen it with people who have Moon in Scorpio). The Mars in Scorp's I've known are kind of intimidating, but really hot at the same time. Mars in Scorp are just a whole lot better at expressing their intense feelings, they pursue things with the gut level intensity that you have when you in love... and with Venus in Sagittarius, he's probably very honest and blunt even more. How's your relationship? The sex with that placement is supposed to be ... the best.. when your mars conjunct his venus or his venus conjunct your mars, or both.. I'm really curious to know how things are between you?.. there's a ton of passion between us, and not just on the surface. he's got MOON and JUPITER conjunct in Aqua so he's not too big on expressing feelings. I think its tougher on him than me with that Mars in Scorpio making him an intense person as is but we work it out. It's as if our relationship really smothers with fire, emotion, and passion. i'm not big on sharing the nitty gritty, don't tell mama details but i'll just say what you've heard about the combo sexually is very true. at first the sex was alright but as we've grown closer it's only gotten better and better with time, and now it's amazing. my mars in aqua and venus in scorpio (1st house) personally create a battle for me where I DO fall in relationships and nfatuation and obsession quickly. a lot of the time i lead on to prove to myself i can but then i get it and i dont want it anymore (it's that leo moon, i tell ya). with my boyfriend however, there's always a challenge. we go through huge cycles where I'm inferno hot and he's ice cold, and then vice versa. i mean it can be frustrating but it also puts a nice warth and balance to the relationship where i know that i'm getting too emotional and he knows that hes getting too cool. it's as if he can freeze me out when i lose control (or evaporate my wateriness) and i can do the same for him. pluto is also very prominent in our relationship, and i think it contributes to this feeling that if we're not together than there really is nothing else. and it feels that way sometimes which can be a negative thing (esp if things were to get that bad) but i mean overall the biggest issues we have are value issues and miscommunication. he lives far away from me (2.5 hours normally) but he's a 30 min drive away in dorms now. i personally like the distance because i'm INSANE about my independence and i lived in dorms as well. and literally for 8 months straight we woke up and went to bed next to each other. it was like we were married because we were inseperable. i think for US that kind of closeness all the time became too stable i think we both need a bit of unpredictability and excitement in order to keep us so passionate and enamored by one another.
weve both got horrible attention spans after all, and can't sit still or hang around thesame people for too long or we get bored. idk. i once was the kind of lady to say i'll never get married because no man will ever satisfy me cuz i get bored too quickly and i want all my money for myself, so i can have complete control. he's really helped me see differently. and he once was so fanatically obsessed about his own ideals and NOTHING could change his mind, he didnt even want to consider anything but his own values and ideas. i helped him open his mind a bit more (yea i know, I Mrs. Fixed. helped Mr. Sag open HIS mind a bit).
we've helped each other grown a lot, i stick around because that's the kind of relationship i want, something to learn from. and trust me the lessons get newer and more unexpected every day however, I MUST ADD.. that the arguments, are equally as powerful and passionate as the relationship itself, if not THREE times more so. I think that's where pluto kicks in. Every time we argue it's like a nuclear bomb went off and the world is ending. BUT we always come out of it better than we went in, that's the one thing I look forawrd to. We really mold each other into better people. I love it, and I love him
