Topic: pluto squaring my venus - when will it end?

mystic,Pluto transits take a LONG time to complete. The good news is that Pluto (transformation) square (energy needs to be combined with) Venus (relationships) is about as strong as it gets. From now on it will get less and less, however the effect of transformation will be still happening. It will be a few years before all this "relationship transforming" is finally complete. thanks so much tim!! when i looked up pluto and saw that it takes 248 years to go through your entire birthchart i got so confused.. haha. started thinking it wasn't going to end until i was in my 70's or something... at least i know it should start to gradually get better. and transformation can be a good thing. so i'm trying to stay positive. :-) ------------------

pluto in sag .. now at 26 deg pluto goes retro in april '06 ... nov 2006 .. pluto is at 25 deg sag
july -october 2007 .. pluto is back at 26 deg after which the nearest pluto gets by retro .. is 28 deg sag in august 2008 IP: Logged |

I am particularly interested in this thread Mysticme74 because I share your Venus in Virgo - mine is at 24 degrees. I've been having a heck of a time with this Pluto square energy. Correct me if I am wrong, but transits really only effect your planets if they are within 1 to 2 degree orb??? Feeling your angst,

lady macbeth (great name by the way)that's what i'm wondering. my relationships are strained right now, to say the least. but in need of some transformation, so i'm trying to stay optimistic about this entire thing. but i tried doing my chart w/ transits for a few months ago and a few weeks ago to get an idea of where this transit was at those times, in hopes to see when it would ease up. but i seem to just get more and more confused the more i research it. haha right now it's at .51 orb for me.. so if what you say is true then no wonder things are crazy! best of luck to you... this kinda bites! haha deeeeeeeep breaths.. ------------------

**Correct me if I am wrong, but transits really only effect your planets if they are within 1 to 2 degree orb???**Pluto is often given quite a wide orb .. normaly 4 deg. either side of exact .. some give it up to 6 deg. either side of exact .. ... basicly the closer to 'exact' the stronger the effect ... ... when a transit is 'applying' is when it's normaly felt the strongest ... like a pressure wave building up .. 'applying' is when the transiting planet is moving towards an 'exact' aspect .. so a transiting planet can also be 'applying' by retrograde motion .. ...
