I have a Moon in Aries, which to me means, that I have a tendency to speak before I think. I have little patience and need to learn to be more patient as time goes on. If somebody speaks in an angry tone of voice, I get offended easily and am not afraid to tell them so.

Could someone tell me more on Moon in Gemini and Moon in Cancer.

I find with Moon in Gemini. These people are intellectual, good I would say in business. They love the phone or internet and can do two things at the one time. They are not afraid to speak about their feelings and nothing is held back. Correct me if I am wrong.

Moon in Cancer, I am not so sure about. All I do know is that they love their home life and maybe would not be as open and confident as Moon in Gemini.

gems can be good salesmen better than us but our strength lies in the way we make people believe us , thats very very important in business .

as for confidence , i agree ,we dont show the kind of confidence that gems do externally but here again our confidence comes in the form of stubbornness , that too very late in the picture .

i am also moon in aries..i agree with you...also,aries moon make me temper,angr easily,and make me exiting..sometimes i feel that moon is dominate my sun(sun is scorpio)..i think aries moon make people leader but at the same time make run especially in feelings..quick movements,feelings,new things...

i have a friend moon in cancer..he loves his family so much...yes everybody loves but he always tell us family'members..tell us story of grandmother etc...also his sun aries ...he loves eating so much,he usually says'i am angry'

I have other Gemini placements so it is hard to say for sure which precise behaviour is elicited by the moon alone.

I feel much inside but don't like open mushy displays of emotion or affection. I can be a bit aloof with others. Is this having an Air moon? I think it's more likely having Saturn in tight conjuction.

When I engage with others on an emotional level, I can't keep my mind on track and often find myself thinking about several other things (could be a bit of Mercury in Gemini sneaking in here as well).

As for phones - I hate them!!! Absolutely!!! I think this is because I spent several years working on a call centre. Had enough of phones for a lifetime!!! Love the internet though. I prefer chatting face to face (preferably over a latte )

Thank you, you are so helpful, and I am learning alot from you which is great. With Moon in Cancer, in a working environment etc., would you be more private re family etc., and or would you discuss family with co-workers etc. Would Moon in Cancer be less confident than Moon in Gemini. I hope I am making sense. Lady Macbeth, what is your Sun Sign, sorry for so many questions but that is my Gemini Rising. You are so so helpful.

As far as discussing family matters at work,...in my experience Moon in Cancer is extremely protective of home and family, we also are extremely cautious and will wait until we feel safe confiding in someone. Especially confiding information which is so personal and which at some point might be used to hurt our feelings.

A footnote: This waiting period to discern when we are safe is an intuitive process as much as it is a cognitive process.

The key word here is SAFE.

Because of this hyper-sensitivity (and I am not using this term as the "whiny-overreacting-to-everything" definition, but the "I-empathize-and-truly-understand-your-suffering" definition), we make excellent confidants and safe houses for other people's delicate secrets and fears.

I like to imagine the Moon in Cancer placement as maternal energy in it's purest form. Protective, nurturing, empathetic, constant, devoted.

I don't think Moon in Cancer has any less confidence than other signs, I just think that we don't need to flaunt it externally. We know in our cellular structure what it is we excel at and we quietly go about doing it.

(One would have to also take into account other planets, signs and aspects that might contribute to a more external display of confidence, like strong fire influences, etc.)

My Sun is in Scorpio.

You are the only person who has made me understand Moon in Cancer. Delighted. You explain everything so well and concise.
