Jupiter conjunct MC

got 4 job offers within 3 days of when that was exact. Venus aspecting the MC can be a good sign as well financially. Jupiter trine Venus can help things along indirectly, including benefits from work.

when i got the job i have now, which is the job i might just actually retire from (unless i make a major move), venus was crossing my asc and squaring midheaven.

check transits to ruler of your 10th house as well.

also, look at solar arcs. i have found some amazing correlations. the most notable arc i had going on right around the time i got this job (in 1999) was MC=moon. i got the job about 1 month before the arc was perfect. incidentally, what MC=moon means is that the solar arc midheaven had arced into hard aspect with my natal moon -- and the moon rules my 10th house (cancer on the midheaven). direct arcs are active for about 1.5 years, 1 year applying and 6 months separating. what activates them are trigger transits to the natal planet involved in the arc equation. for instance, when i got this job the transiting moon was opposed my natal moon, ruler of 10th, in the 9th house -- and my job is in education, i work for a university.

so i had at the time of getting this wonderful job, i had:

• MC=moon
• transiting venus on ascendant square midheaven
• transiting moon in 9th house, opposing my natal moon in 3rd, and squaring my sun in 6th & pluto in 12th (i have a natal t-square between the sun, moon & pluto)

you can check arcs using astro.com. just go to extended chart selection and select "natal, progressions, and solar arc combined" under type of chart you want. download the PDF file by clicking on "click to get additional files", and the PDF you get from that will be 3 pages. open it, go to 3rd page, and you will see your current solar arc chart. it will give you the listing of all the planets, and on the bottom half of the page is the aspectarian grid. on the left side of the grid are the solar arcs planets and angles. on the top of the grid are the natal planets/angles. look for the hard aspects from the solar arc planets/angles to major players in your chart -- in this particular case you would want to look at the ruler of your 10th house, whatever that planet is. all of the aspects listed will be 1° or less. 1° applying means the perfection is 1 year away. 30 minutes applying means the event is 6 months away. every 5 minutes equals 1 month.

the event wont necessarily happen when the arc is perfect, like i mentioned these direct arcs are active for about a year, year and a half. once you check the arcs to the ruler of your 10th house (for example), youll want to note times around when this arc is active that the ruler of the 10th is being aspected by transiting planets.

a common arc to experience at the time of getting a good job are arcs to the natal midheaven, or midheaven arcing to a natal planet, particularly the ruler of the 10th house (as happened with me).

hope this helps
