Topic: Part of Fortune in Synastry

I'm not just talking w/ romantic others, though those are certainly included...How has your POF interacted w/ the charts of those significant in your life (and vice-versa)?
Has what's indicated astrologically actually played out in your life/lives?
How so? I'm just starting to look at that, and it's interesting: My husband's POF is at the very end of Leo in his 10th House in a very close conjunction w/ my North Node/Mars conjunction and near enough (by degree) to my Jupiter (in Virgo) to count in horseshoes and hand grenades.
(That is, close enough to be near enough to count...or something along those lines.)
It doesn't make any terribly close contacts to anything in the rest of my chart (the closest being a sq. to my 25d Uranus in Scorpio...but that's still like 4 degrees off). My POF is in my 2nd in Saggie a few degrees away from my Neptune but in a very close conjunction to my Husband's 2nd House Neptune. Hm, I guess that would make it also trine my Husband's POF (and my NN/Mars thing) and sextile his Pluto. (Don't mind me...this is the written equivalent of me babbling to myself in order to work through something). So.
I guess that that means...
Hm.
OK, that means that his POF is heavily supported by my general "thrust" in life...a good thing, I imagine.
And then my rather philosphicaly dreamy/artistic/idealistic streak-ish (?) POF would be supported by his philosphicaly dreamy/artistic/idealistic streak...?
(If anyone has a better grasp of that, I'd love to hear it.) Hm.
It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.
I can't wait to have some more time to explore this w/ some more charts.

My PoF is right on my Sun in Aries (11th). It's kinda hard for me to tell how it's played out (synastry wise). One thing that comes to mind though.. I've always had people with one or two Libra planets opposite this..in my life, including my bf. People generally see me as lucky. I've had some pretty strange good luck situations happen, a few times over.. where I would've normally ended up in trouble but didn't by some miracle lol I'm also one of those people who could do anything for the first time ever.. and be clumsy as hell at it and somehow wing it regardless. My POF is pretty sweet. At 22 Cap (house 2)it makes a perfect trine to my Venus 22 Taurus (house 5) and my North Node 22 Virgo (house9/10 wide conjunction to the MC). I have finally come to the conclusion that it means I have always been able to survive with my artistic skills (writing, editing, artisan work).... Kind of weird this placement as I don't care a whit about money and material things but I do care a great deal about artistry and spiritual freedom and the ability to survive when the work is focused on these things.....PS my husband's POF conjuncts my Neptune widely... I am looking at the children's and others but do not see anything wow-wee yet... IP: Logged |

Here's some basics on the Par (Part) of Fortune :::
"Keys to the Interpretation of the Part of Fortune:
As noted above, the Part of Fortune points to innate talents that set us on a path to worldly success. First look to any planets or points that are tightly conjunct or opposite the Part of Fortune as significators of vocation, career, and natural talents--keys to success.
Second, determine the ruling planet of the sign of the Part of Fortune, and consider that planet as another significator.
Consider the sign and house placement of the Part of Fortune as qualities and areas of life where we possess natural and innate talents or abilities, and that can be considered keys to worldly success and prosperity.
Look to any planets or points posited in the same sign as the Part of Fortune, whether or not they are conjunct the point. These will also play a role in our profession."
