I hear people commenting on double whammies.
What are they, and are they considered good or not?

Hi Yang!
Double whammy's are when you compare two people's charts in synastry and a specific aspect goes both ways. For example person A's Sun sextiles person B's Moon, and then also person B's Sun sextiles person A's Moon. That's what a double whammy is
I'm not too certain, but I think when it's a double whammy, it makes that aspect between the two people even stronger. It can be a very good thing if its a good aspect, but it can also be a bad one if it's not a good aspect. It all depends

Thanks So let me get this straight. Would this be considered a double whammy?

Person A's Sun trines person B's Sun ( and obviously person b's sun would also trine person a's sun). If not, then what is that?

I don't think that's a double whammy considering it's the same planet being aspected.

A double whammy... example..
person A -Venus in Leo. mars in Aries.
person B.. Venus in Capricorn , Mars in Scorpio..
So comparing..venus/mars aspects..
person A's Venus is squared person B's Mars.. and Person Bs Venus is squared person A's Mars.

Hmmm... would it still count if it was like A's venus square B's sun and B's venus quincunx A's sun?

What about identical aspects that the two have in their natal charts?
