Hey Isolade ~ Check out my thoughts on D&D Online in the post right above your post Overall I like it, though it's quite different from playing World of Warcraft. This launch was the smoothest i've ever experienced (no crashes, horrible lag, emergency patches or buggs!)

Don't even worry about XP at all! The lvling system is quite different than WoW. There are only 20 lvls (so far) in D&D. But, there are 5 ranks per lvl. All the XP you get is in instances. Most give a lot of XP so lvling goes pretty quickly (i'm already lvl 5 and I don't play all that much). But I do have a pretty regular group I play with so that always helps. There's supposed to be an expansion coming out soon (already!) with some new territory cuz the hard-core gamers are gettin to the top lvl hehe.

One of my favorite things, believe it or not, is the character selection (i'm such a girl haha!) You get to choose: hair color, hair style, eye color, eye shape, nose, lips, lip color, facial attributes (i.e. piercings & scars); class (of course!); alignment; and you can either 'auto' your points or select where to put your character points. Whew!

As I stated above, I do not like that you can only have 6 to a group. I hope they change that ASAP! That is my least favorite thing.
Another thing that's annoying (but i've gotten used to it by now) is you can't just sit and eat/drink to heal/replenish mana. You have to use a rest shrine during the instance to get this stuff back. There's at least 1 rest shrine per instance, sometimes 2. Don't waste yer rests people!!
Hmm what else... The only place a magic user can mem spells is in a Pub or at a rest shrine after a rest. Other than that yer stuck with what you have mem'd.
One last thing that's different is that buffs disappear after you zone, and don't last very long either.

I'm looking forward to checkin out Lord of the Rings Online too

Sephiroth is HOT!

Also, Vincent Valentine is sexay, his character intrigues me.

Its nice to see alot of gamers around here, I see some of you have asked about how one would go about getting into the industry/job of making games... Id like to reply to that and give you a few pointers BUT... right now Im totally pooped due to spending that past 10 hours working on some video-games projects for my course... FIRST THINGS FIRST... YOUR TALKING LONG LONG HOURS no matter what end of games development you want in on! If your a coder like me then kiss your life goodbye, Im hanging onto my social life by a thread because of a good friend of mine whom tares me away from my work... Other than that Id never leave the computer!

Back laterz after I get so well earned sleep lol

Ashley Riot from Vagrant Story OWNZ Sephiroth hehe

I play mostly FPS, i find i beat them within 2 or 3 days.

I'm thinking of getting into the game industry, i orginaly was thinking of 3d Animation. I got accepted to a college close by that teached game design, but i declined to attend after seeing the quality of education there.

I have a question for you Lei_Kuei? tell me which program do you perfer for 3D Animation and gaminig 3ds max or maya?

I worked with max since high school, but am starting to notice that maya might be the future of animation and gaming( part of the reason why i declined to attend) I've started to learn how to work with maya, the visuals in maya kick a*s in comparison to max.
