One thing that always bothers me is the Leo persona of being so outgoing. I'm far from outgoing, I'm very shy, and I even have Saggitarius rising, but I'm still awkwardly shy. Maybe it's my pisces moon, either way I'm annoyed at myself most the time, being shy really bothers me. (By the way I'm a Leo). I do like to be the center of attention which is very Leo, but it's hard when your quite! LOL!

anyone can be shy regardless of positions. I know someone with practically all aries and sag and leo and she is still shy and awkward at times.

I am the opposite to you, pisces sun - leo moon (with aqua rising) and I can be painfully shy. But when I was younger my mum used to try to get me into performing arts courses and piano concerts where there were a LOT of people to try and make me more outgoing. It did work to some extent and now I am more inclined to be the one to initiate conversation or what not with other people.

A lot of the time my shyness does come back though, especially in situations with unfamiliar people but coming out of your shell and knowing that you have a right to express yourself just as anyone else does is so worth it. It can take some time, especially if you've had bad experiences with people not accepting you before but in the end you realise you had nothing to be afraid of anyway! There's nothing wrong with being shy and I agree, there are a lot of other placements other than your sun can influence this.

Yes, there are shy leos...they do exsist. lol
My ex-best friend, is a Leo Sun/Leo Moon and she was (don't know if she still is) painfully shy...

Another shy Leo here! My shyness has always been a part of me, but sometimes when I'm around people for a long period of time (like school and work) my true personality starts coming out more and I forget that I'm shy. It feels so good when I am more outgoing and Leo like because I really love being around people and of course getting attention is always nice. I tend to be the least shy when I go out at night, like to night clubs or out on the town. Maybe because I feel more in my element and I'm too excited to be shy.

Anyways, know that you are definitely NOT alone. We have actually already had a thread like this and many Leos here came forward and confessed to being pussycats. When you read the Leo Sun Sign description, do you feel you match most of the other traits? Also are you absolutely positive your ascendent is Sag? Cause you know how a few minutes or daylight savings time can throw that off. What's your Venus placement? Mines Virgo, so theres one major shy influence for me.

Hey Leosweetheart! Thanks fo your imput! I suppose my shyness my have to due with having Saturn in my first house along with Uranus and Neptune. but my Saturn and Uranus are both in Saggitarius, I dunno... Don't some aspects take awhile to come out in your own natal chart, because I'm only 17, so maybe my chart will seem more acurate in 5 years or so.

missneptune, I have a lot of planets that are supposed to be outgoing and anything but shy, but I am the last person to start talking in a group, no less a bunch of people I don't know at all. My Mercury is in Scorpio in the 12th, so maybe that's why...I'd rather observe and see others' modus operandi and let them expose their motives (my detective Scorpio merc can usually sniff out the untrustworthy ones before I get burnt) first...

I'm a leo myself, but I wouldn't say I was shy, I'd say I'm so magnetic and charismatic that there is no need for me to be that outgoing, I'm just laid back and I do what I feel. Some people may mistake that for shyness or quietness, but I'm not timid in no way shape or form. Leos can do that because we have such a charismatic aura that people just wants to be our company, we don't have put on any shows or any form of entertainment.
