Salisa,In my opinion, a conjunction (combination with) of points (i.e., non-energy places in a chart, such as Ascendant, Descendant, nodes, etc.) in a chart indicates a similarity of FOCUS between two people but does not provide any energy to help each person achieve that life area they are focusing on. Also, if you are both aware the other is trying to get to "your point" in life (North node (future goals) conjunct), it could cause a competition between you and this other person.
