Hi everyone!- how are you doing?

I've not been 'round for a while... 'cause I started working, jeez (can u believe it!?)but here I' m again...

I was wondering if it is the aspect between my Mercury and ASC- that often make me "say more than I should"- , I mean, I'm a very talkative person, and I enjoy much talking with new people (Mercury 7th house?) but I've realised that sometimes I talk too much , and say things I shouldn't!- lol... :P

I don't think much about what I'm saying, and later I regret telling more than I should... it's like words come out of my mouth without notice... LOL

Can Mercury (in Leo) opposite the Asc (in Aquarius) have something to do with this??-

bubbles,

actually, yeah it can. I have mercury conjunct the AC and in the interpretation it says "you use the word 'I' a whole lot more than most people and [...] have a hard time shutting up" and that's totally true in some environments, although my conjunction's from the 12th house.

With the opposition it'd place the same emphasis on expressing yourself except in your case it would be more of your reaction to things people have said and what that's made you conclude with how these ideas relate to you and relating in general (did that even make sense?) Leo's naturally outgoing and an Aqu AC would enjoy shocking people (or at least correcting them when they're plain wrong) so it does add up

Yup, I would agree with jkxx on this, it does seem that your fiery, outgoing Leo Mercury would lead you to blurt things out, and with Aqua opp., the shock value is definatly there. It's probably not even anything that your realize at the time, it just comes out before you can think about consequences or regret. This is also seen in emotional outbursts with a Leo moon/Aqua sun. Trust me, I KNOW.

There is nothing wrong with expressing how you feel in the moment, but just take a second to think about it, then maybe you won't end up with a foot in your mouth, that's what I've been working on.

I have exactly the opposite (Merc in Aqua conj DSC opp Leo ASC) but apparently it resonates in a similar fashion to yours. The Aqua Merc just says whatever and is stubborn about its beliefs and the Leo ASC likes to be dramatic in the "delivery." So your Leo Merc should be stubborn and dramatic or just honest in a "genuine" way [actually both these sgins are very genuine] and then the Aqua ASC likes a shocking delivery. ?

I've gotten over my big mouth and am now proud of it because when Im like this I draw people to me who are genuine as well so thats nice. Plus it makes people laugh which doesnt hurt ["i cant believe she just said that, i never would have"].

Heey Jkxx!

Hehe I think that the interpretation you gave me it's pretty accurate

"you use the word "I" a whole lot more than most ppl"- LOL- (eventhough it's an interpretation for Mercury Conj the Asc)I had to laugh when I read this... just looking at my first post, I couldn't agree more....

-----------------

Hey Ghani!

I couldn't have said it better: "it just comes out before you can think about consequences or regret"

I'm trying to work on it too. I'm very careful about saying things that may hurt people, fortunately, most of the time, I don't.

My main problem is that sometimes I get so caught in a conversation that I end up saying things that I shouldn't. I'm not very good at keeping secrets either, lol.

---------------

Hey Arnicka!

So you've got the opposite!- Well, hell yeah, I can be very stubborn and dramatic and my ASC sometimes enjoy shocking people. That's funny, what's not funny is that I often end up shocking my own self, LOL

quoting you: "I can't believe I've just said that" heheh
