I have a question for you Aries moon folks, or anyone who has experience with them.

My boss is an Aqua Sun/Aries moon, and I just have the hardest time with her managerial style. She is the instant-gratification type, and it's either her way or else. She has a good heart, but I think that she often doesn't realize how much work my coworker and I put in. As two Piscean moons, we need a little bit of appreciation. Our Mutability works well -- we bend and flex as much as we can to fit her wants. But I wonder if there's anything I can do to get along with her better. She can be really erratic and impulsive with her charging forth all the time, and changes her mind every 2 hours. It gets hard on us when we know there are time constraints.

So in essence ... great leader, but clashes with our style and doesn't like constraints of any kind. She gets irritable every time a small technical failure occurs -- the copier doesn't work, or PowerPoint is not cooperating. But her anger dies down as fast as it occurs. This kind of behavior boggles me, and I've learned to just accept it as part of her personality.

I hope I haven't offended anyone ... I admire the Arian quality to get things done, be a dynamic leader, and be fearless at times. But I'm just trying to understand how to make this a better working relationship. I know there is a lot of information that I'm missing, as I've just culled data from websites and this recent experience with my boss.

Thank you,
SkyG

i am an aries moon..your observation is true.you should know that;aries moon is complicated enough for us..so we are in trouble with this position we feel that;we shall be leader;we want to fast;and we want coworkers enough fast;as our brain and emotion works fast we want people as do that..it is selfish thought;but we are..also,we can see everything around usbut as we think people just that be we think it is normal..but you are right;people want appreciasciton;so we want..

you can be fast;and always be idealist..moon aries loves idealism in work;emotions;relaitonship...and they always like new ideas..our anger is not long;but burning..so far away and dont argue..if we understand our fault we came back and say i m sorry...i hope some light

take care..

My dad has Aries in his Moon, Mercury and Venus and my brother has Aries Rising and Aries in his Moon as well. I have the hardest time getting along with either of them cause they're always teasing me and making fun and I guess I take it too personally, but when you hear it everyday it gets tiring. They're both very short tempered and I try to avoid them more than anything. My dad can be mad out of no where and stay mad all day, or he can be mad at one moment and then be joking around the next. Like I said, I have a hard time getting along with either of them and don't really connect.
However, my best friend has Aries Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Rising and we get along great [obviously, or we wouldn't be best friends]. So it might not be that it's the Aries Moon that I have a hard time with or if it's different placements. I also have Venus in Aries in my 1st House, which may be why I get along better with my friend [she has so much Aries in her chart].
Hope this has been even a little insightful.

Thanks for the comment. You're absolutely right, I need to make sure to praise her when the occasion calls for it. I guess I've been too caught up worrying about the logistics of whatever grand idea she's got, that I forget what a wonderful idea it is in the first place (if we can work together to pull it off!)

neval3000 -
Very insightful, shed some light for me, thank you. It's true -- she's very idealistic. She has beautiful ideas on how to get things done, but maybe just needs someone to help her put those details together. I'll try not to argue with her, but how can I get my point across? I know Aries Moons don't like receiving advice ...

Rebekka -
That's really interesting about your Venus placement, and the contrast between the relationships you have with your best friend versus your dad and brother. I wonder what accounts for it, hmm. I can see where all of your Piscean traits would shy away from the bursts of anger.
Interestingly, my boss likes to tease HERSELF a lot -- always making fun of herself and making light of whatever funny fault that she thinks she has. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Yeah, with my Aries moon, I appear to be too idealistic, getting things done in perfect and precise manner not only for myself, however I want everyone around me to be that way. I like to do things quickly and sometimes feel others also could do the same.
Though I don't come out very strongly with others regarding that.
I also find it difficult appreciating others as I feel, there is nothing great and it should be a normal thing.
As I am now starting to work more with bit younger people and kind of lead them, I am trying to change this thing (however its bit difficult).
I probably don't flare up that frequently (maybe due to Pisces Sun) however when I do it is bit instantenous (when I am very irritated) and it does cool down quickly.

Maybe you could watch on what behaviour of yourself irritates her and what not; and interact accordingly.

THE DARK SIDE OF ARIES MOON

Aries Moons fall in and out of love faster than ten-dollar hookers. Mars' unpredicatble behavior acts out within the emotional Moon, resulting in a nervous disposition, quick temper, and sudden impulsive action. The emotional structure of Lunar Rams is focused on self-interest. Both sexes balk at suggestions or direction, wont follow orders, and resent any type of authority. They want all the glory, all the gold, and all the pie, never mind how many pieces.

The Aries Moon also gives an edgy push towards self-destruction as well as self- indulgence. Anywhere bare-knuckles Mars lands in a natal chart he stirs the pot. Hel loves a battle (love is a battlefield), and so does the Aries Moon person. The Martian ego merges with the basic emotional structure and what Aries Moons want (just like Sun Aries), they usually get. Trouble is, Lunar Rams have the attention span of a gnat buzzing a bowl of fruit, and an identical attitude towards romance. These are the characters who elope on the first date, make spur-of-the-moment moves across the country, change jobs regularly, and shed spoused quicker than a Gemini. An Aries Moon heats the emotional character of any Sun Sign. It bestows a quick mind, roguish charm, and an independent streak wide as the Mississippi and as dangerous as the Amazon. It also increases the chances for serial romancing.

How does an Aries moon affect your sun?

Double-Fire signs, such as Double Aries Marlon Brando, Leo/Aries Antonio Banderas simply ooze danger and sex appeal. The most fun is probably Sagittarius/Aries (Kiefer Sutherland or Katarina Witt), but you'll need track shoes to keep up with this combo, and a large insurance policy because they frequently wear out early from the frantic pace.

The Taurus/Aries blend is more obtuse, less reasonable, and Extremely touchy, with oodles of sarcasm and love attention. Virgo/Aries is a verbal sleeping tiger you dont want to awaken. Thy have a flash-fire temperament and take everything personally, but can be very loyal. And, Aries ignites Virgo's kinky sexual fire. In Capricorn/Aries, the Goat teams up with the Ram, and nothing less than a nuclear bomb can stop them from doing exactly what they please. This is the warmest temperament of the Goat, who want it all and wont stop till they get it.

Gemini/Aries is wickedly funny, but never faithful, or home. A born con artist who is so detatched he or she could forget your name, either sex is great for a lively affair, but you'll neeed loads of patience, and a steady job, for anything more committed. If you like megavain and purely critical, Libra/Aries was made for you. These characters have a string of affairs and broken marriages, but are cute, sweet, and born to be wild. Aquarius/Aries is the combo most likely to get you a mercy lay, enjoy group orgies, and be able to remain friends before, during, and after the affair.

Even in homebody Cancer, the Aries Moon is rarely content, definitely does not like routine, and will demand freedom while demanding you keep the home fires buring. Unless you are into whips and leather, or are an extreme survivalist, run as fast as you can from the Scorpio/Aries combo. These boys and girls have volcanic tempers and are so selfish 'nothing else' will come first. Cross Pisces/Aries off your list. These poor devils are so emotionally convulted (aka screwed up) they have permanent reservations at the nearest in-patient facility

Hope this helps

My aries moon makes me very excited about ideas I get, and makes me believe I can reach some pretty far-fetched goals. This is a good thing to me, I do have an impulsive temper at times, but I am fairly harmless and the people close to me realize that. I completely disagree with the analysis above of a aries\taurus mix, I am a taurus sun and the two blend well for me, adding some spice to taurus and tempering the aries a little bit.

Hi! I have an Aries Moon in the 3rd....

My best friend is a double Pisces
Sun/Moon and God love her she is very sensitive & easily hurt by the actions and words of others.
She hides it well most of the time.. But having known her for 10 years, I can usually pick up on this right away.

Being an Aries Moon, I don't tolerate interference very well. I can also be impetuous. But, any flare-ups die quickly... My friend says she has learned to take it all in stride... later.. I am on to the next thing...

I agree, you should speak up to earn her respect... tell her... she is bound to think a little more before doing or saying in the future....

Divine... I love that book!!! Virgo/Aries
fits me.... I just wish all my earth didn't shadow all the "NEXT" qualities of Aries in love... It is hard for me to let go....

My current romantic interest is a Libra/Aries(scorp ascendant).

"If you like megavain and purely critical, Libra/Aries was made for you."

Very good to know, and, yes, I've already seen the critic start to emerge. I thought maybe it was a Cardinal Sun sign struggle, but it could very well be that moon. Something she said that's stayed with me since is that she thinks she speeds me up, while I slow her down. I am a Capricorn, so that makes sense to me. My question is whether or not she could ever have the patience that is required to survive being with me.

Damn!!!

True, though.

I'm very, very impatient. But yeah, the good thing is I don't hold grudges. I'm not easily offended too, but I don't know if it comes from Aries Moon, Aquarius Rising, or Sagittarius Mercury.

Skygazer,

Yes... you are in a pickle having to work with an Aqua with an Aries moon. Aquarian's on their own are not known for one on one relationships (they are big picture / global people) you combine that with the heat from the Aries moon) wanting things done now and in a direct manner... and well, you can have an explosive combination.

I am a Sag Sun / Aries moon / Mercury in Capricorn. I am not as hyper as those with either Mercury in Air or Fire along with the Aries moon, but I can be extremely direct.

My guy is a Leo Sun / Pisces moon / Mercury in Leo (12th house). He has a tendancy to mumble and take a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long time in making a decision. I call it wishy washy, he calls it weighing the options. I think the world of him and I understand his need to think things through - BUT.. I draw the line when it comes to taking 2 minutes to decide what to eat since the first option is out and the waiter is sitting there patiently waiting for him to make up his mind. I politely said "Baby... BACK UPS..... get used to them".

LMAO.. see an Aries moon usually has 2-3 back ups, or as in the cartoons "Plan A, B and C." If that doesn't work.. then hell, jump in and take your chances by DON'T WAIT!!!

LOL.... Most of the time Aries Mooners take on more than we can handle - or we can handle them yet we don't take into consideration other people and their abilities / needs. In our minds we say "Hell, if I can slay the dragons, rescue the damsel in distress then come home, do the laundry, make dinner and clean up.. hell, why can't you just type up that one darn report?"

Then again, we function at an optimal rate when we have alot on our plate. If you just give me one task and unlimited time, I believe my head would explode LOL...

Hopefully things will even out and it sounds like you all need to learn where the other is coming from. With an Aries moon you can say "hey.... I need to clarify a few things". BUT... and this is VERY important - HAVE YOUR ARGUMENT MAPPED OUT

By that I mean, be prepared - have something written out so that they understand what you are going to address. Don't do that "Well.... ummmm.... I...... see, it like this... ummmmm"

We have already lost interest and are probably day dreaming about another dragon we heard about that needs to be slayed

Neval, villy, Divine Goddess, cindy, Stargazer (hello fellow gazer), AcousticGod, bohemianjazz, & pidaua -

THANK YOU for your responses! So this is what I've gleaned & will try to do as often as I can:
1. Be lightning fast in my responses
2. Make sure those responses have backup.
3. Be original. Be prepared. In short, be brief, be brilliant, and be GONE.
4. Stay calm during her lightning temper sessions. They are brief. No need to take cover under the desk.
