PLEASE can someone explain to me the difference between Synastry and Composite. I'm confused. I keep hearing these two terms and I can't seem to differentiate between them yet. It's driving me mad!!------------------ Welcome all, good buddies. Be friendly and I'll be nice. IP: Logged |

Beowulf,A synastry is the inter-relationship of two charts of people who are in a relationship. The synastry shows how these people get along and points out potential issues which could develop in the relationship. A composite is a chart of the relationship itself. So the composite is ONLY useful if BOTH people have decided to have a relationship with each other. This chart of the relationship has to do with how this relationship works as a WHOLE. While people can work on getting around issues in synastry, issues in composite are issues of the relationship itself and have to be dealt with directly. A simple way to think of a composite chart is it is the birth chart of the relationship. Relating, Tim IP: Logged |

And if you want to get really anal, you can do synastries of the people involved with the composite. At least, that's what I've heard IP: Logged |
