Because they don't necessarily tell you what you want to hear, because they are slightly impatient, critical (they give you that "look") get straight to the point, and in my humble opinion have the best judicial abilities and one of the best senses of fairness of the whole zodiac. I love that.

Lets not mistake all of this with the fact that Virgos are very pretentious.

I find both sexes of Virgo to be casually rude.

The males of the sign seem oblivious to their inconvenient impeding upon others.

As for Virgo females, I don't care that they "scold themselves" when no one is watching. They see how rude they are, but actively ignore their conscience, and still tell you how you must behave, all while conducting their not-so-surprisingly scandalous acts of depravity.

That said, those Virgo girls are just so cute...

HEE HEE... I see to attract men with strong Virgo in their charts - actually there are themes that seem to occur - prominent Virgo / Gemini, Taurus risings and men with Sun in the 1st house).

I am a Virgo rising with Pluto conjuncting my Ascendant -Saturn in Taurus in the 8th....

I was married to a Virgo for a few years, then my next guy had Venus in Gemini with a strong Pluto squaring my Sun.

Then I was engaged to a loser Taurus Sun / Virgo Moon / Taurus rising. That was an adventure in hell LMAO...

After him I dated a few dudes - mostly guys with Sun the first house and Sag moons.

Now I am with a Leo Sun / Pisces moon with Venus in Virgo (it tightly conjuncts my Pluto / Ascendant within 1 degree) LOL.....

I like the Virgo influence. I enjoy my guys love nature in that he and I are both on the same page when we show someone how we feel - both physical (fire) and by doing things to make the other person's life better (Earth - Virgo).

I love coming home and seeing that he had time to do the dishes and clean up -because the ex was a freaking lazy slob (LOL) and I'd work, come home and clean - then cook dinner. EEEK!!! That does not make a Saggie happy.

Anyway, I will say this, I would rather be with a Leo that has Venus in Virgo than the Virgo ex-husband that had Venus in Leo. He had a hard time handling his fire love nature and just learned to turn it off completely.

Shirty- I'm not sure if a Sagittarius should fault someone else for craving attention.

It could be me, but I tend to find many virgo's very funny....possibly because they tell it how it is, or just how they can pick a situation apart that can make me laugh...does anyone else find this about them?

Well, it's no secret how I feel about Virgos.

There's so much about them that fills in the blanks for me, and vise versa I think. I really admire them, for their honesty and their clarity of thought and words. That's not to say I haven't confronted a few less than desirable qualities in them, but by and large, their merits outweight their faults. PS They're not ALL prudes, sexually speaking.

Gotta love their evil sense of humour I adore them - they do of course conj my Moon ( and oppose my Sun shhhhh ).

When it comes to the truth, they will tell you just that…and nothing more. They wont go OTT and insult you, nor try to water down your faults…or make you see the “good” side of your fault…urr hello?
They’re very similar to Sagittarians - and I have 3 planets in Sag so hey

Though I can see why and how some may find them hard to swallow. I've butted heads with Virgo suns, moons and ascendants when they cross the line from truth to insult. But normally it’s all good.

Why I like Virgos

- Their gr8 humor sense.
- Their practical approach
- Nagging nature

I have come across only one virgo gal so far. Though she had all the above qualities, she was a passive aggressive manipulator!

5 reasons why I love virgos:

1) Their humour is very distinct, dry and witty.
2) They can simplify someone elses problems with such ease yet can never figure out their own.
3) Their modesty.
4) They really want to help and be of service to people - bless them and
5) The way they analyse EVERYTHING and are natural worry warts is endearing.

Later he would have wondered why she called him absentminded because he could never remember to bring her a gift on her birthday or their anniversary. She's the one who forgot.....that he once told her he loved her.

I'm a Virgo.I love to be of service to others. However, like Pisceans,I get taken advantaged of.It takes serveral months for me to realize that I have been duped.Do any of you Virgos relate to this? .Also,I think Virgos like Pisces prefer platonic relationships. We're not like Scorps where sex is a necessity.

Peace....

"I think Virgos like Pisces prefer platonic relationships. We're not like Scorps where sex is a necessity."

I do not agree with this...Depends on the chart... Although, I have lots of platonic relationships with men (Aries Moon)...With the right person, it is not a preference.....In fact, I even surprise myself on occasion

Virgo Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Pluto
Scorpio Mars, Neptune
Leo Jupiter
Saturn Aries
ASC Capricorn

Shops is a Virgo

Peace,
I agree to a point about virgo's having the ability to really separate the platonic over the sexual. My ex husband was not into intimacy, but it wasn't because he was cruel or had hang ups. He was just one of those brilliant guys that didn't have much use for sexual activities.

Me, being a Sag Sun / Aries moon / Venus in Sag- well, I enjoy a rambunctious romp with my mate as often as I can LOL... BUT...as I said before - he and I had a wonderfully intellectual relationship and I will never look back on our marriage as a mistake.

Virgos ARE incredibly funny and witty. I also noticed (unless they are otherwise afflicted) they make amazing mentors.

Shop... Please, that was pretty mean what you said. Then again, I have seen others say the same things about signs, it's just not called for nor does it serve a constructive purpose.

peace- platonic relationships....... haha Um.... why though? Why???

Yeah, amen, shop22much! I'm a Virgo and well, I have very strange jarred perpectives and relationships with others of my sign. I've nearly always disliked/hated them at one point or another but then also find myself able to admire them greatly and really like them at other times and I'm pretty sure the love/hate is mutual
I've only known a couple of Virgo men I think and not well ever, but I'm sure that's more due to circumstance. I know one man, a teacher, (much older than me, definitely NOT a crush here... yuck) but there's scarily so much he says I agree with and sometimes I just wish there was some sort of Virgo flag I could salute to after he's just been totally un-PC and hilarious. And after he gave me a detention once he told me "I wish I'd given it to someoen I don't like". So guess that pretty much sums up inter-Virgo exchanges- a sort of mutual respect.
But essentially, we are just whiny a-holes.
