I have been reading this message board for quite some time although I do not post all that much because you are all so much more advanced in astrology than myself. I have a lot of respect for your opinions and would love to know if anyone has ever consulted a good psychic and how the experience was. Is there anyone you can recommend?

All I can say is we are our own best psychics. Have consulted once, a very reptuable local woman, but she did not tell me anything that I had not already intuited.

It is refreshing, sometimes to get a "second opinion" and validation but I have come to realize that I already "know" more than I really want to sometimes and why pay someone else when I am my own best psychic.

I agree with hippichick.

What I tend to do at times, is consult a psychic when I have a very strong message about a matter. Luckily I have two best friends who are brlliant psychics!! It is like receiving confirmation about something we already know. I give this back to others too....so its like an exchange of energy....it works wonderfully !!

In the past I have consulted a few and believe it or not none of them were wrong....although they all said I was very open...so I spose that helps...

The last one I saw over a year ago told me something that came true which has totally changed my life.....within six months of seeing her I saw a shaman healer who told me EXACTLY the same things......phew....powerful stuff indeed. Of course, i already had an idea of this.....but just wanted to make sure.....LOL !!!

Hey thanks for that feedback, and you are right about our own intuitivness. I have predicted a number of events that have turned out exactly as I predicted, but I am at a very serious juncture in my life right now and would love some validation...(as I am losing sleep over the issue)

Ask around.
A reputable psychic will not tell you what you want to hear, but what they honestly pick up on.
A reputable one if they charge will also offer to refund your money if they read wrong, or will try again for free. They will work with you at no more charge until they pick up something valid. Or be honest and say, nothing at this time and refund your money.
Be careful.
Alot of shysters out there.

Try to find a rainbow store in your area. You know, they sell books on metaphysics, incense, meditative music, crystals - that type of thing. I lot of those places can plug you into any of the small groups which usually meet regularly, having to do with what you are interested in. You may have groups all about psychics, or increasing your psychic abilities yourself.

It's a good place to ask around because you'll be able to talk about something others are interested in, and if the psychic is good, word gets around.

I wouldn't approach a psychic cold turkey, just like I wouldn't want someone to tattoo me until I've seen their work.

I have a friend who has a "gift" well she has visions all day long since she was a little girl shes in her mid 40's now, anyway, I worked with her for 3 years and for some reason i always found myself coming to her for advice..because belive it or not ..she was ALWAYS right.
she never ever told me anything straight out she would just steer me the right way...wether i listened or not..was on me.

Anwyay one day she finally told me about her gift. I wasnt freaked out, i was very intrigued. A lot of people are not comfortable with that so she doesnt tell just anyone.
Its very interesting to hear her tell me about how it happens. SHe described it as a bunch of tiny little tv screens popping into her head "her visions" and how she can walk into any place night club (for example) and hear what people are thinking..whos gonna get into what..and whos good or whos shady.etc...
She doesnt do readings, as a matter of fact all she would do is give people advice, not because she wanted to BUT becuase everyone really felt comfortable talking to her... but i knew.
Ill admit sometimes id have a dirty thought and i felt liek she knew. Shed walk by and say "behave honey" lol....
its pretty weird, but i think is a beautiful thing, she never studied astrology and is not into that stuff, she was just born with this gift.
I cant tell you how much she has helped me grow as a person and how much trouble shes saved me from ...without ever, acutally telling me anything staright out.
Any other psychic i wouldnt go to.

I'm a Spiriualist and go to a Spiritualist church where they do a demonstartion of mediumshipe and have been sample read by a few mediums there and usually they were bang on.

I have also sat with 2 mediums one was for a free exchange of astrology/mediumships readings. She was bang on and the 2nd lady I went to and got a discount on my reading. I saved the tape and several months later I listened to the tape again and the accuracy is eerie.....but it's all good......
