My main source for transit interpretations is the Astrology X-Files website. They're into house lords and Hellenistic astrology and all kinds of stuff I don't know anything about, so I'm not able to judge how accurate or otherwise their interps are, but if they're good, then the following two things sound very BAD:

from "Transiting Mars Square or Opposite Natal Mercury":
Encounters with the police are not uncommon, such as parking violations and traffic tickets.

[i]from "Transiting Pluto Square or Opposite Natal Mars":
It is also best to avoid confrontations with authority figures, especially the police or military. This is a time when they might be on a power trip.

Also, I note that Mars, which I know in general rules Martial (police) matters, is SQUARE to EVERYTHING! Yikes!

Note I am in the midst of my Saturn return. Aargh!

Is there no ray of hope in all this???

What exactly is the problem for which you have the court date? Using the correct affirmation and the intention to take the correct course of action negates all adverse effects of transits.

A negative transit that can mean "getting wet" can manifest as the sinking of the titanic or spilling a glass of cold water. Our mental state of mind chooses which way we expereince the transit.
