Have you ever NOT bought something simply because of its, or one of its, ingredients? I wonder what Planet might influence that ...

Buying things because they are beautiful could be a Venus or Neptune thing, for starters. But to NOT buy something because of an ingredient ... would that be a health issue to the mind?

Is it a matter of quality?

Not buying something because of an ingredient........ maybe Virgo influence.
There are lots of ingredients in food I try to stay away from (hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, MSG, etc. etc.)
I am guessing it is my Virgo 10th house/MH.
(I also have 4 planets there).

I do this all of the time. I'm a pain to grocery shop with.

Heavy sugars (in any shape or form) I stay as far away from as possible. I have to admit, it's only due to a strong tendency for me to easily gain weight from sugars.

If I can't make something a light version, I generally won't buy it. It has to be bakeable (is that a word?), doesn't require a lot of butter, no oil, etc.

I eat pretty healthy. However, I'm not over the top with it. I like to indulge in a good fried hamburger... or sausage and pancakes sometimes.

I also try to stay away from dry-clean only items. Other than leather, bed linens, etc. I like the standard up-keep simple.

I don't know what astrology aspect would contribute.

All of my Libra placements are 1st house.

All of my Scorpio placements are in my 2nd house... other than Uranus, it's on 1/2 cusp.

I have Saturn in Virgo (11th house).
Jupiter in Leo (10th house).

I do a good job at staying away from junk food. I also rarely eat red meat and never drink soda. This brings some complaints from home, but hey they will thank me for it later (: Since kids are kids, I will occasionally allow them a treat such as ice cream.

Yeah, I was thinking Virgo influences too because the first thing that comes to mind is food. But then I also got to thinking about inedible stuff, such as leather, or mica rock. Could be quality as well, but more an appreciation for a quality in life itself, such as nature. I think of Aquarius influences, maybe even Taurus since they enjoy things they can touch directly and does not irritate their skin.

And I mean, a sincere thing. Not where a rule has been put into place, or in TheEvolution's case, unable to enter a workplace with voyeuristic gadgets. (Wear pants ladies ...)

Not so much with food... but I do pay attention to ingredients when it comes to cosmetics and health aids. I wouldn't buy it when it contains something I don't like. Also, I wouldn't buy certain brands of clothes. I can pick something up at the store, look at the label and be like "oh, no...I can't wear it" LOL...ok, you can laugh at me but I blame Leo Ascendant.

I hate vetyver... and they put it in almost every fragrance right now.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. What would your answer be to your question, AJ?

(Dulce Luna - I'm thinking Phillipines?)

Anyways, I'm getting a feeling it goes all across the board. Someone may opt for something stylish rather than practical.

I guess what I mean has to do with natural ingredients, cuz I mentioned leather and mica rock. Then we can go into all that paper we through away each year in the form of a 50-pound Yellow Pages
