I am curious to know if anyone would be willing to interpret a couple of charts for me. I met this guy recently and we are literally half a year apart from one another...June 23 and December 23. I have always had a feeling that I was eventually going to meet a Capricorn who I was really attracted to and now it has happened and for some reason I'm all freaked out.

Opposites attract. Bottom line.. but the energy is a push and pull.

Maybe let the relationship evolve, before tweaking the beauty out of it with astrology.....
or
Type the placements/aspects ( from astrodienst) into a search engine and interpret the results. ( don't forget to include the word 'synastry')

In doing relationship charting, it helps first to take a look at Libra, Venus, and 7th house in each person's chart (all have to do with relationships). You have Libra modifying Pluto (transformation, also power), indicating that you may be powerful in or overpowered by relationships. This possibility is increased since you have Venus square (energy needs to be combined with) Pluto. You have Venus in the 12th house, which is Venus in the house of its exaltation (very easy energy), and you have Venus conjunct (energy is combined with) the Ascendant (self). Energy in the 12th house can be hard to "get to", but once it touches your Asendant you can "feel" the energy: so you have strong relationship energy which you can "get to". You have nothing focused in the 7th house.

He also has Libra modifying Pluto. In addition he has his Libra modifying his North node, indicating that he has a goal of having relationships of some type. His Venus is in the 12th house but not directly conjunct the Ascendant, so he may have more of a challenge "getting to" his relationship energy. This possibility is increased since he has Neptune (spirituality, also idealism) conjunct Venus, indicating he may idealize relationships and so be looking for a "perfect" relationship. He has Jupiter (expansion) conjunct Descendant (others), indicating he may be expansive in his relationships with others. He also has Mars (being, also action) focused in the 7th house, indicating he could be active in relationships in some way.

In relationship charts, we first look at the Sun and Moon to see if there are any aspects between them. There are aspects between your Suns, although they are challenging, indicating a "connection" of some sort between you. Next we look for interconnections of the other personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars). Looking at Venus energy first, in your charts you have mostly oppositions (over-excited energy), which may be exciting for the short-term, but may cause long-term challenges from being "in opposition" to each other all the time on relationship issues. You do have Venus trine (energy goes easily with) Mars (being, also action), so it is possible to work out these relationship issues together by taking action.

Looking at the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), you have Saturn (duty, also structure) sextile (energy goes easily with) Venus, indicating the possibility of possibly structuring your relationship in some way. Another challenge could for you could be his Uranus square Mars, which could indicate sudden anger (it is in his birth chart, so it is not a problem for him in the relationship).

The challenge for you both is to share power in the relationship. A challenge for him is to not expect an "ideal" relationship but, instead, to work TOWARDS his ideal. A challenge for both of you together is to balance out your differing opinions and feelings about relationships and other things. And beware of sudden anger from either or both of you. Working together you can handle these issues and grow together as a couple.

Shop 22 ~ I am not sure about our composite chart...I think his sun is interpreted in House 1 so I don't know.

Gert ~ The attraction is indeed strong but he does not seem all that assertive thus far. I really do feel a connection with him though and that happens very rarely for me.

Yes, Pixel P I am Cancer with Cancer Asc. and he is Cap with Cap Asc. so I guess we will see what happens, if anything!

My problem with understanding charts comes mostly from not knowing how to visually tell what is, say, a conjunction in either one person's chart or in both. I do understand what the basic terms mean, just not how to decipher them unfortunately. I guess I will have to buy a book that explains it so I can visually get it.

I suggest you look at the aspect grid in doing all interpretations, which is chart which lists one person's planets and points on the left side, the other person's planets and points at the top, and then shows the aspects of each person's planets to the other. Looking through the aspect grid will quickly show you where the aspect interconnections are and where they are not between the two people.

As you advance in your astrological studies, you may decided that some of the aspects Astrodienst lists are not "true" aspects (i.e, are not close enough to be in aspect to each other).
