Saturn will be entering my 12th house June 22. But I noticed it was like my psyche was all ready making the transition even though saturns not in my 12th house yet. Things have been poking through that I just can't seem to shove down any more... and quess what I'm dealing with them, old deep seeded childhood issues. Its insanity incarnate but needed, its like I was wearing a really tight corset and it was loosened ever so slightly And I can breath a little better.(takes an asprine "its going to get a lot worse before it gets better lol").
Is any one else going through this transit or has gone through it. How did you survive it. Any tips? I'd love to know what you all went though!
On a slightly differnet note I did a tarot reading that said I would get into a relationship in the near future. I got the same reading about 5 different times. Near future is kind of vague to me so I did a pendulum reading which said that I would meet him in july. Now I pretty dam good with the tarot cards but I'm new to the pendulum so... .........what was my point...Any ways How do new relationships work out in a cycle were your supposed to be finishing, ending and completeing things?

Hi Salisa ~

Here’s what cafeastrology says about Saturn transiting the 12th:

quote:
Contemplation of the meaning of our existence, our accomplishments, and our "failures" is the main focus when Saturn transits our twelfth house. This transit marks the end of a cycle, which can most certainly bring with it a fair measure of confusion and discontent, especially at the beginning of the period. Saturn turns a critical eye to all that lies beneath the surface, and we are forced to do some serious "spring cleaning" of our psyches. During this transit, we face our own demons—the vague yet haunting fears that undermine us. We all have skeletons in our closet. What we don't always realize is that they can seriously undermine our happiness and well-being. Saturn sweeps through our "closet" (the twelfth house) and demands that we take a hard look at what's been hiding in there. Is this process uncomfortable? For most of us, it can be. But getting rid of outdated attachments, and examining and discarding irrational fears, is not only necessary for further growth and development—it's ultimately a huge relief. The twelfth house in some ways is a dumping ground for things we have left "undone". Saturn here wants us to sort through the junk and keep only those things that we truly need for future development. This process can be rather lengthy and it can feel very slow, but if done properly, it can be most rewarding. We deal with endings rather than new beginnings during this transit, as we shed outdated attachments and unconsciously prepare ourselves for Saturn's transit of the first house, when we will work diligently on our individuality and personal identity. We are markedly introspective at this time in our lives. We may isolate ourselves from others in some manner—a process that tends to come naturally. Health issues, generally of a psychosomatic nature, may come to the fore. We may be attracted to alternate ways of living, and to self-study fields, such as psychoanalysis.
And here’s a blurb from astroscoped.com:
quote:
SATURN TRANSITING YOUR 12TH HOUSE (approx. 2.5 years duration)
This period emphasizes public service, volunteer work, and healing. You may be engaged in professional work behind the scenes, or in a supportive, charitable, or therapeutic capacity. You will have a serious interest in psychology, meditative disciplines, or involvement with spiritual retreats. Your professional responsibilities may involve hospitals, institutions, or prisons. At times you may feel lonely, or isolated as you withdraw from the everyday concerns of larger society and search within for inner truth, peace, and a healing, spiritual vision.

Saturn tromped into my 12th house last July and won’t cross over my Ascendant until September 2007 (**sigh**) “Self-examination” and “spring-cleaning” are the keywords for my trip on Saturn XII thus far. I’ve been dragging all kinds of spiritual, emotional and physical baggage all over the landscape with me for years and I’ve reached a point of saturation where the burden HAS to be lightened or purged. Actually it’s been a really gratifying time for me – Saturn in the 12th almost seems to make it easy to dump the bad habits, negative mindsets, and doctrines we’ve accepted without thinking much about them. Kinda like quitting smoking – you finally reach a point where you hate it enough to stop, and it almost seems easy – because you WANT it bad enough

The “introspection” angle has been present, but for me it was enhanced by Jupiter conjuncting Neptune at the beginning of my 3rd house about 18 months ago and that was the start of me really delving back into astrology and other esoteric studies – the fuel for further psychic and psychological development and maturity. The “lonely and/or isolated” description hasn’t really fit me -- I've been, and still am to some extent, isolated, but even when I was single (ie, childless/partnerless) I wasn't lonely. But that probably has to do with my chart as a whole, and my innate character. I'm a sociable Libra people-lover, but the Scales must swing, and I enjoy being alone -- gotta have that time/space to recharge my batteries.....

As for your prophesied “new relationship” – are you certain this will be a lover? The Universe works in strange ways sometimes ….. and do you believe that it would be inadvisable to start something in a “cycle were your supposed to be finishing, ending and completeing things”? Astrology is just a way of recognizing potential, not a set of rules that say “you must do this, you cannot do that” at some particular time. As for me, I’ve made a handful of wonderful new friends during the time Saturn has occupied my 12th…..

Happy Trails!

I'm just going my my dealings with my natal Saturn in the 12, but

Above all you'll need to center and quiet your inner self. You're probly setup to go through a lot of what seems like the old past, but there is very current information you need from this place in yourself. Increasing self awareness while maintaining stillness is your key here.

As for the relationship,

Could there be any time greator to start a relationship than the time you make peace with and let go of the past? You will be at your most calm and intuitive soon. This is golden.
