I just realised that I have Scorpio in the 12th house. So what's the diagnosis... how bad is this really? And what are the strengths of this? The Moon and Uranus are also in this house for me. Are there any other 12th house Scorpio/Moon/Uranus, Uranus in Scorpio people here? If so I'd love to hear about how this affects you. IP: Logged |

I have my Pisces cusp Sun, Moon and Mercury in the 12th House. I'm not sure whether it's this placement of my Moon that makes me very emotional or the heavy Neptune/Pisces influence. Because I also have Pisces Rising though, I can't ever seem to figure out where my feelings/thoughts end and others' begin. It also tends to make me depressive, extremely timid to the point of being asocial, and I need a lot of alone time. Hope some of this has helped.~Rebekka IP: Logged |

Think of the 12th house as things "forgotten," but retrievable--as through hypnosis, therapy, OR using some from of divination. We "foget" past lives, things not acceptable to the adults in our childhood, things incomprehensible or traumatic from our early years, the learning process of things mastered. (We learned to walk, but usually do not remember doing it.) Consider this the house of the subconscious. It holds memories, but most are not easily accessable. One means of discovery is astrology. Scorpio could be magic or abuse. Moon something forgotten about a parent, possible emotional abuse. Uranus, something that changed drastically--probably a family event. If conjunct the Moon, something that changed a parent, and consequently you. Sun in 12 is a "fogotten self"--like you gave up your real identity--maybe because it was unacceptable to the adults in your childhood. 12th Mercury probably born intuitive, but trained logical ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Wow, that's really interesting... It's been said to me by several psychically-inclined people that I have abilities which I am unaware of... since then I've been slowly discovering these things and being a bit shocked, and I know there is lots more hidden. And without practicing magic myself I have had some pretty odd interactions that are magically-inclined (such as magic objects responding to me when I walk past them)... this does sound like Scorpio in the 12th house to me. And yes there have been drastic changes in my family, such as the divorce of my parents. So that sounds very right about Uranus! And if there's something forgotten about a parent, it's still forgotten so I have no idea about how Moon in the 12th relates to me! Thanks! Lots to think about... IP: Logged |

How does one develop the abilities that the 12th House can provide? I'd like to think I might have such abilities with my three personal planets all piled up in there and my other Neptune/Piscean influences. Can somebody possibley direct me in this respect?~Rebekka IP: Logged |

I have a 12th house cusp - Scorpio/Sagittarius. My Mercury is at 23 Scorpio and Mars at 0 Sagittarius, both in the 12th.Communication (verbal)has always been tough for me, but having Mercury in Scorpio, 12th house, I tend to read between the lines and have psychic tendencies to pick up things that are unsaid. I also have a tendency towards being empathic in this regards. I'm also interested in this subject... IP: Logged |

Scorpio/12th house, I have this and I do have trouble with my emotions, I paint and spend a lot of time filtering out other people's thoughts/feelings to find my own.Finding your own identity is key, and I really dislike people with drinking problems or tempers. I dont' think that makes me timid, just discriminating. Natasha IP: Logged |

For Warrior PrincessVenus in the 12th might be forgotten integrity--meaning that you are much better integrated (body, soul & spirit) than you remember. Libra in 12, often refers to balance--meaning that you have mastered inner balance, but that circumstances caused you to think you are unbalanced. This suggests that, early in life, you lived with some "crazy-making." Consider this: If a balanced and highly integrated being is born into a family of unbalanced and "split" personalities, who would be called unbalanced , etc? This placement may point to some heavy projection--meaning others projected their faults and flaws on you. With Venus there, it may be because you are female---a family attitude that devalued females, in favor of males. Libra Rising is "The Other" so clearly you are different from your family. Sun behind Ascendant is the mandate to "Become what you are,"--in this case realize just how integrated and balanced you really are. Pisces Moon = Master Soul Really "getting this" is the sum of self-realization and that is key. Only as we know who/what we are, can we know what we can do, whom we relate to, etc. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Alice www.lifeprintastrology.com IP: Logged |

Rebekka(I could do this better with your chart data.) Pisces placements are "mastered"--Like having a PhD in consciousness. This means that you have full access to the intuitive, as well as the logical, side of the brain. Clearly, you are a master being--not unlike Jesus of Nazareth. (taken as a model of evolution, not a religious icon) This means that you have completed a cycle of development--mastered it. If you have Aries Rising, (or even later in the first house) you are now beginning the next level. What you need to do is to realize that you can take all this knowledge and use it as a foundation for a new venture. The more you focus on forward motion, the less will "soak in." In this lifetime, the Master goes out to Pioneer a new level of being. One aspect of that is that Mercury has evolved beyond the physical senses and become a kind of "tuning device" which can tune in knowledge in much the same way that we "surf the web." You have an excellent "internal internet." What you lack is good boundaries, because the more aware we become, the more open we are to what is around us. This is both the gift and the problem of such placements. The good news is that you are a wonderful candidate for visualization and self-hypnosis, so get some books and/or take some courses. You can set some boundaries by visualizing them. One that I have used is a silver-mesh egg surrounding me. It lets in all the good stuff and filters out the negative emotions--nearly all of which are not really yours. Also try telling yourself, each moring when you get up, "Today I will feel my feelings, listen to my thoughts, and be completely myself."...........or you can change the words to sound more like you, but keep the thought.

RebekkaYou have Aries-Libra intercepted so you are a "misfit"--meaning you do not fit in your family, with your peers, etc. The reason for this is that you are a "whole being," complete in yourself. It further means that you do not have an "other half" and, if you are looking for a long-term relationship, you need an equal--a soul-twin, not a soul mate--and those are rare, so take your time. Born just before the new moon, you will have at least two distinct parts to your life. Given Uranus conjunct the MC, this will include a change of career and/or goals. Being a double Aquarius with Pisces rising, you are quite adaptable and although you may confront many obstacles in life, you will overcome them with ease. Trust that and "be not afraid." Part of your "mission in life" is to model methods for living "in the world but not of the world." Another part is that you are intended to demonstrate the versitality of humanity--meaning the wide range of possibilities inherent in us all. This is a great chart. You are truly blessed. Believe it. Go out an live it. Let no one judge you, least of all you. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Alice www.lifeprintastrology.com IP: Logged |

Wow, thank you so much, Rev. Alice. That was very insightful! I've been looking for the reason why I'm the black sheep of the family and not fitting in with my peers for a long time and you finally were able to show me where it was. I do have a question though, when you say Aries and Libra are intercepted, what do you mean? And as much as I wish I could believe my chart is great, I always feel like it's boring and dull. Like there's no variety in it. I'd also like to ask you if it's because of my 12th House placements and Neptune aspects that I feel I'm more of a Pisces than an Aquarius. And do you believe in cusps? Because this could further explain the identifying with Pisces. Thanks for all your insight! ~Rebekka IP: Logged |

When run correctly, the the first house cusp is Pisces and the second house cusp is Taurus, so that the whole sign of Aries is inside--not on any cusp. Opposite that, you have Virgo on 7 and Scorpio on 8, with Libra inside. This is an interception. See? In a chart with a single interception, 2 signs will appear on no house cusps and 2 pairs of houses will have the same signs on the cusps. This, of itself, declares you anything but "boring and dull.".........You might be interested to know that I have the same interception, tho in different houses. I don't know what you mean by saying that your chart lacks variety. It is largely concentrated between late Sagittarius and the end of Aries. To me this simply shows that you are an "older soul" with better integration--that you are more "together" than most. Your Sun/spirit, Moon/Soul, and Mercury/mind are all in Aquarius, a sign that is, by deffinition, unique. It is, however, not highly visible because it tends toward a white aura (very highly evolved). Yes, I believe in the cusps, especially the horizon (Asc.) and meridian (MC). Your Pisces Ascendant declares that you "look like Pisces".....meaning that is the impression you make. It also means that you were a "forgotten child"--largely because being of a higher "vibration" than your family, you were hard for them to see..........People cannot see what they do not belive exists. Incidently, I think you are in a period of personal transformation/evolution/change and will continue to be for another 1-2 years. After that, the purpose of your life will be much clearer.

Is that similar to having the Asc in a late degree? Mine is in the latest degrees of Sag and most of the first house is Capricorn. It throws off all of the houses inot being mostly dominated by the sign after the cusp. My 12th house has Scorpio in the beginning and then its all Sag. I have my Mercury, Sun, and Neptune there in that order. My Mars is also in Sag, but in the first. Although I am very much a Sag, sometimes my Piscean side is stronger (: Especially since I also have a singleton Pisces Moon. IP: Logged |

Scorpio Mars in the 12th but it conjuncts moon, Jupiter and Neptune- for that emotionally exuberant and dreamy nature. I love my scorpio mars, being in my 12th it feels more like a secret weapon I use at will. It is close to my emotions (moon) so maybe that's why?? I have been accused of having naughty eyes on more than one occasion. IP: Logged |
