divine,

Ancient and mediaeval astrology was very harsh on interpretations of the 12th house. However, modern Western astrology recognizes that the 12th house is the house of spirituality. This spirituality is achieved by dissolving the boundaries of the energies in the first house, making us "all one" but also creating confusion about what is "mine" and what is "yours". With Mars (being, also action) focused in the 12th house, you may find it easy to take spiritual actions, but may be confused about exactly what actions you should take.

Spiritually,

Tim

i know a couple of kids with mars in pisces, and they're very passive, too nice, and are often taken advantage of. they 'need' an outlet for their emotions because it gets piled up...one of the kids is my sister, and she often hides her feelings and sometimes says the opposite of what she really feels/wants.
so we registered her into a martial arts class and it seems to be helping.
she also has her mercury in pisces.

My Pisces cusp Sun is in the 12th House, along with my Mercury and Moon. These placements, with Neptune sextile my Pisces Rising, make me very passive as well. I've had to learn to let people know how I feel because bottling them up has made me become very depressive. It's easy to make me cry, I'm too nice to every, extremely shy, and it's easy to make me upset.
I also believe this placement has enabled me a lot of spiritual awareness. This might sound ridiculous or corny, but ever since I can remember I've been able to see spirits. It used to frighten me to death when I was little! Even now I get scared by it. Once I went into my brother's room when he was going through a very dark stage of his life (too many details to list really), and it was almost terrifying. I got chills, it was very cold, and I just had a bad feeling about being in that room.
I also pick up on what other people feel. Sometimes I think I only ever feel what everyone else feels! I hope this has been enlightening, or at least that you can relate. As with other placements, it has its benefits and perils.
