Hi Everybody,

Long time a fan of this forum, I'm posting my first message today.

I'm a Pisces Sun, Gemini Moon and Scorpio Rising (Mars in Gemini and Pluto in Libra) with Uranus rising from the 12th house.

I've got a personal Q...was wondering about Grand Squares...I had a crush on this Taurus guy, and there seemed to be a lot of attraction between us (or so I thought). I found out his planets (except the moon)...

Good Synastry
His venus is conjunct my moon, vertex, and mars; my venus and mercury are opposite his mars and jupiter, both our mercuries in trine, my jupiter conjunct his jupiter and mercury…But any attempt from my part to become closer was impossible (and honestly, he seemed uninterested in the end).

Not so good Synastry
His Saturn in Virgo is at the missing arm of my natal T-Square (sun squared by mars, moon, and neptune, and moon is opposite neptune).

His Saturn is the focus point of a natal T-Square with Venus and Neptune, meaning I also created a Grand Cross for him with my Pisces Sun.

Q: How bad are Grand Crosses between two people? Bad or really really bad?

Would appreciate to hear your insights on this matter.Thank you all.

Scarlet,

I don't think of aspect patterns when looking at synastry charts. Instead, I look first to see if one person's planets are strongly focused in a particular house or houses in the chart, and then look at individual aspects, paying close attentions to challenges (i.e., conjunction, square, or oppositions) to the personal planets (i.e., Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars). While these challenges can create short term attraction they also can create longer term issues so, if two people are serious about the relationship with each other, these personal issues will have to be worked out somehow.

Relating,

Tim

Thanks Astro Junkie and Tim!

Yes, so first goes the study of each individual's personal-emotional-relationship make-up and then the close look-up to the challenging/learning aspects between them.

Well, I sure can tell that his saturn opp. my sun and activating my t-square has been enlightening, but no romance in the picture.

Lately I am attracting men with hard natal aspects to venus and moon...maybe its because I'm soon having saturn oppo. my venus and then neptune conjunct my venus? Early classes for the coming roller-coaster...

Still, after reading in the forum about venus sq mars btw charts, I'm longing for that, hehe

Thanks again, tk cr
