Topic: Day ruling signs and night ruling signs.....

I was out doing karaoke last night and talking astrology. My Taurus acquaintance asked me if Taurus people are usually night people. I thought back to one of these very old astrology books I read quite a while ago about night and day signs.My guess was Taurus is an evening sign, while Libra rules the day. Being one negative Sign and one Positive sign. Not sure if my theroy even floats. If that is the case....how could we indicate if the person is a day time/early morning person or a night hawk? I'm an Aries and work well or most alive mid afternoon. Early morning I'm still so groggy and sleepy. Would this also have to do with the Neptune aspects in the chart? If so, How? (I know currently I have an exact orb transit of Neptune trining my Rising sign and Progressed Sun about to come into conj orb to natal saturn........It feels like I'm very tired most of the time and now my naps have gone to 3 hours in length. I'm just wishing I can get back to normal - sleep wise) Just pondering....... ID IP: Logged |

I'm not sure. I'm an Aries and I love mornings lol. I know, I'm one of "those" people.. the weird ones who like waking up early. Everything seems so fresh, the air seems fresher.. leaves have dew drops..I have quite a few Neptune aspects as well.. and most of my chart is made up of feminine (night) signs.. I have a lot of energy in the morning though. I don't mind afternoons, but I hate the night.. Unless it's Christmas or something and there are different coloured lights everywhere.. but most of the year, night time just puts me off for some reason. It seems cold and scary. Summer nights are better than winter nights. I’m in Aus btw so Xmas is in summer yay My bf is a Libra. He's the exact opposite. Hates mornings, loves the night lol.. Im an Aqua and I work best either very early in the morning or very late at night...hint when there aint no one in sight. I love peace and solitude when Im trying to get work done....There could be back ground noise, as long as it's not distracting, like a conversation. I prefer to walk up very early in the morning, but my sleeping habits dont let me. So I resort to being a night owl. My Neptune is in Sag/7th house, conjunct Venus. I know a few Aries who love mornings too...They can sleep at 3 o'clock in the morning and they'll still be up for 6-7am full of energy looking forward to the day...this has always amazed me!!! I guess it's not typical of Aries though. IP: Logged |

Haha, Lauren, I agree. I'm an Aries, and I love getting up early. If I sleep through the morning, then my whole day is crappy. I feel like the entire day has passed before me when it's really only noon.  IP: Logged |

Hi Inner Depths, I think it depends on "who" is in charge and how they are being aspected. Maybe when my Libra Sun is in charge I am more of a day person, and when my Cap moon or Asc is in charge I do the feminine night thing. Good topic  IP: Logged |

Ooohh I like this question. I am all the way night. 6am doesn't exsist to me unless im still up. of course this means I sleep all morning until about noon. They say scorpios like the darker sides of things i guess that goes with the time of day too.IP: Logged |

I am NOT a night person by any means. I get so tired at like 8 pm it's ridiculous. Even if I have nothing to do the next day, I'm in bed by 10-11:30. I like the early morning and the mid afteroon. IP: Logged |
