So far I have come across somebody who only uses a 1 degree orbs and that's it. I'm thinking the transit effect maye have started before the 1 degree orb....

Last year transitting Saturn was sitting near my moon at 24 Cancer for several months going from 20 Cancer and finally into Leo - the whole time with Saturn near there was interesting.

It's personal preference, but I use 2 degees applying and 2 degrees separating. Sometimes a transit from an outer planet can be felt earlier.

I think it depends on the transiting planet. I started feeling Pluto squaring my Moon at least 3 degrees from exact. A friend likens it to a wave building up as it gets closer to the shore, as the bottom becomes shallower.....

I normally feel The Big Guys (outers) much more than the little guys (personal planets), probably cuz the Transpersonals pack the biggest wallop and the little guys like Venus and Mercury do a hit and run and don't hang around long.....

I agree the bigger planets have a wallop to them at times.

Right now neptune is almost exactly trining my Ascending degree - I'm sleepy half the time.

have a great night...
