Hey All!I have recently just graduated from college, which was temporarily exciting, but now, with grad school a year away, it's time to save up money and work! Only problem is that I am starting to realize that while I am adaptable, and want to appear confident and hard-working) I can be depending on the day), I seem wired to work hard academically (have gotten awards), but not so much at work. No one would ever say I was lazy, but I frequently just go through the motions. Keep in mind though, this is also because I have yet to have a job in my field (English, preferably Publishing) I think the answer may be in my chart.. I have uranus in the 6th (Sag) Which apparently is not such a hot placement. I also, have Venus (also in Sag) These planets are conjunct at (03 15'). Other than this, these two planets make NO connections to any other planets or anything else to that matter. I known for being a "smart cookie" but I have such bad look at getting jobs that I really enjoy. What gives????? :-) IP: Logged |

Haha. I have Venus in the 6th, too. But in Pisces.I have a real...aversion to work. I guess? I find it hard to get a job because, even though I'm not normally very shy, when I try to even get an application from someplace I feel so...embarrassed? I just kind of shut down. hah. IP: Logged |

I think, in second thought that it may be my uranus placement which leads to random disruptions (and innovation) in my field.Nice to know I am not alone with this venus 6th house stuff! lol. IP: Logged |

Uranus in the sixth is designed for moving from job to job--in your case the apparent motivation may be the hunt for work that you love.Literally, part of your mission on Earth involves proving the versatality of humanity. Try not to worry about it--another factor here is that Venus in the sixth is probably only working for the money which allows you to do something else---something that is your real "first love" or "calling." Do what is in front of you, then the next thing, and the next. You are being lead to where your presence is needed. Make peace with that. Hope this helps. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Alice www.lifeprintastrology.com IP: Logged |

Rev Alice-Thank you so much for your reply; I can never find solid interepretations of these two placements in my chart. The uranus placement is pretty grim-so I appreciate your optimistic twist! IP: Logged |

You are welcome-- I too have Uranus in the sixth--a conjunction of Venus Ret, Uranus and the 7th cusp.I worked in food service, in a large city, for many years. I rarely stayed in the same place more than 1.5 yrs. Still, I had an odd kind of job security, because there was always another restaurant, just down the street, that needed help. Although in the sixth, the Venus-Uranus conjunction was also conjunct the 7th cusp....I married 4 times before I gave up. Every time I got a mate that was a little crazy in some way, each one more than the previous one. The last was diagnosed bi-polar.
