Your Mercury sign describes your mind--most people have Sun and Mercury in the same sign, but some have them different so that they are one sign but think like another.

YOur Moon Sign describes your Soul, and has much to do with what you do and how you do it. The Soul channels or formats the Sun's energy.

Your Rising Sign desribes the results of that. It is the Self-Image---meaning how you look.

All of these are pretty major with the lesser details in the other planets.

I don't know ... I've been playing around with this and a couple of things worked for me. I took my Sun Sign, took its Ruling Planet (Venus), then the House which rules it (7th), and see what Cusp it's in. The Sign of that Cusp may be a "inner" you.

You could also try replacing the Sun Sign with the Asc, do the same thing. Another thing that worked was looking at Sun or Asc, (for me it's Venus for both), then I looked at the Ruling Planet (Venus), then see what Sign that Planet is in, and then what House Rules that Sign. That House may contain what may be important inner stuff too. Where important inner stuff may need to occur.

When I tried these, for the first I got Scorpio for my Cusp, and I have a Scorpio Stellium. And for the other, my Venus is in Virgo, so I looked at my 6th House Cusp, and I got my Sun Sign (Libra). Also interesting, the 6th House is where my Scorpio Stellium is.

Anyone want to try that and compare results?
