I have a question about retrograde planets;I have three of them - Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, they're all retrograde and in my first house. What kind of emphasis does that put onto a person? Whenever I've conducted other people's charts, I never see retrograde planets (excluding myself). So I'm a little oblivious to thier nature...

MissNeptune,I posted an article by Arlene Kramer earlier today about retrogrades, if you are interested in reading it. It's long, but well worth the read. Basically, when a planet is retrograde the energy is directed inward at you, rather than outward.

Wow! That's it! I guess people really don't know that much about retrograde planets, I thought I knew more astrology than most of the people on this site, and I'm correct!IP: Logged |

missneptune,If you are looking for more in depth information on retrogrades in addition to the article, there are entire books on the subject. Retrograde Planets http://www.astroamerica.com/retro.html March & McEvers book Math & Interpretation Techniques (Only Way... Volume II) has a chapter on Retrograde Planets. IP: Logged | |
