A dear friend had already 2 tumors extracted, one aprox 15 year ago in the liver and the other in the head last year. Fortunately both were not cancer and she is living a normal life. Looking at her chart I see she has Saturn in the 6 oppositon to Uranus, Pluto, Sun and Mercury in the 12, I also see that Uranus has entered her 6 house and Pluto is squarring her Saturn. Can anyone say what exactly causes it? She was born on 12 Sep 1966 at 7:15 AM Rio de Janeiro (Brazil)IP: Logged |

Saturn in 6 implies that the native may use health to restrict movement. You would see a conflict between what her Spirit-Soul wants to do/be/become and what she has been taught is the "right thing" to do/be/become.Ultimately there is great ability to "heal oneself" here, and indeed this one must take the responsibility for her own healing. Often times this means using wholistic methods like nutrition and/or vibrational healing, etc. Actually, with Saturn in Pisces, one is "master of boundaries" so, chances are, this person has a real--albeit unconscious--reason for the health issues. Perhaps she is committed to helping develop some new healing modalities, or maybe just being a living lesson on self-healing. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Betisa,I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. I hope she's doing better and continues to be healthy. My best wishes to her. Jupiter rules the liver. It also rules growth. Cancer rules the upper lobes of liver. Pluto rules tumours, transmutation, slow growth and regeneration. Saturn can concentrate and help to solidify. It represents structure and limits. Cancer, the Moon, the 4th house, Scorpio, the 8th house, Pisces, Neptune and the 12th house are connected with liquids and fluids. Neptune rules abnormalities, escapism, spiritualism, intuition, and the 12th house rules the subconscious, hospitals and past lives. Mars and Aries rule the head and brain. Aries rules the 1st house (the body, health). Mercury also rules the brain. The 6th house, along with the 1st, governs one's health. Here's what I see in her chart. Natally, your friend has Pisces, a water sign, on her 6th house cusp. Pisces on the 6th can indicate problems with the liver because one of the co-rulers of Pisces is Jupiter, which rules the liver. It can also indicate difficult to diagnose or unusual illnesses or abnormalities because Pisces is co-ruled by Neptune. Pisces, natural ruler of the 12th house, can also indicate that her subconscious mind and hospitals are involved in 6th house activities such as, work and/or health matters. And, if she is a believer of past lives and spiritualism, the collective unconsciousness may be providing a protective influence over her health or it could be her health problems were carried over from a past life. Saturn in Pisces (Pisces is co-ruled by Jupiter [growth, expansion, liver] & Neptune [fluids, abnormalities]) is in her 6th house of health. Saturn (solidification, structure, limits) in the 6th can indicate problems with health and the structure of the body, including the skin and body proteins. Her Saturn is retrograde, which internalizes the energy of the planet. Her attitude towards 6th house matters (health, work) is dutiful, serious and responsible, yet very emotional, even to the point of excessive worrying, which can affect her health and work. Saturn (solidification, structure, limits) in the 6th opposes (conflict) her stellium in Virgo (natural ruler of the 6th house of health) of Sun (inner self & health), Mercury (12th house ruler in her chart, a water house, naturally ruled by Pisces, Neptune & Jupiter and the 9th house ruler in her chart, naturally ruled by Sagittarius and Jupiter), Mercury (the brain), Uranus (the unexpected and sudden change) and Pluto (tumours, transmutation, slow growth, regeneration). A stellium is a conjunction of 3 or more planets and gives great emphasis to them, the sign they are in (Virgo - practical, detail orientated, fastidious, dutiful, possibly critical, health conscious) and the house that they are in (12th, naturally ruled by Pisces - fluids, escapism, subconscious, hospitals and past lives). Planets' energies in the 12th aren't always fully expressed outwardly, but are internalized and repressed into the inner consciousness. And her Sun and Pluto conjunction in Virgo in the 12th may indicate that her body has tremendous regenerative capabilities. That Saturn (solidification, structure) is trine (flow & ease) to an elevated Jupiter (growth, expansion, liver) in Cancer (fluids & upper lobes of liver) in her 10th house, naturally ruled by Saturn in a flat chart. Saturn is the ruler of her 4th house with Capricorn on it, a water house naturally ruled by Cancer and the Moon. Jupiter is the greater benefic and is elevated in her chart. An elevated planet takes on significance and strength in a chart. Jupiter in Cancer is also exalted. Jupiter's major aspects in her chart are all trines (positive), except for a minor aspect a semi-square, to her Part of Fortune. Her Jupiter gives her luck and success in life. Saturn, Jupiter, and Neptune all form a wide water grand trine (ease and flow, luck). There was almost a kite in her chart, but not quite. Grand trines are considered lazy, but hers is activated from her Mars (energy, head, brain, blood, surgery) & Moon (fluids) conjunction squaring (tension & action) her Neptune (fluids, abnormalities) in Scorpio (a water sign). A Moon/Mars conjunction squaring Neptune can indicate health problems, such as problems with fluids, the circulation of blood, and the head. It also shows a tremendous need to escape, sensitivity and an irritable temperament. Neptune in Scorpio also has tremendous regenerative properties. The Neptune in Scorpio has a connection to the stellium in the 12th house as well, by way of a sextile (opportunity), providing her body with more help with healing itself. My guess is that her tumours had a lot of fluids in them, like benign cysts would, because of the water element of the grand trine, rather than out of control cancerous cells. Venus (love, affection, partnerships, the arts) in Virgo (practical, detail orientated, fastidious, dutiful, possibly critical, health conscious) in the 11th house (friends, hopes, wishes, social consciousness, groups, circumstances beyond your control) is the only planet in the entire chart untouched by Neptune (abnormalities, fluids, escapism, spiritualism, intuition). Also interesting to note is that her 1st house ruler Venus (Libra - balanced, peace loving), which is also her 8th house ruler with Taurus (stability) on the cusp, has no aspects at all. An unaspected planet can be very strong. Venus is known as the lesser benefic. The 1st house rules the body, personality and health and 8th house rules death, but it also governs the body's ability to regenerate itself. Her Venus may help her with her health problems and her ability to heal herself.. You didn't give dates for her symptoms and diagnosis, which could be looked at well, but last year, in 2005, she had transiting Jupiter (growth, expansion) in her 12th, indicating possible hospital visits, and her 1st house (the body, health), naturally ruled by Aries & Mars (the brain) indicating growth of the body or to a part of the body. In that case it was in her head. Transiting Uranus (the unexpected and sudden change) was also hitting the 6th house of health and forming an inconjunct (adjustment, strain) to natal Mars (energy, head, brain, surgery), indicating a need for an unexpected surgery and a possible problem with her head. 15 years ago, in 2001, transiting Jupiter (growth, expansion, liver) was squaring her natal Saturn (solidification, structure) in Pisces in the 6th house of health. Pisces is co-ruled by Jupiter (growth, expansion, liver) & Neptune (fluids, abnormalities). This aspect may have allowed a tumour to grow and develop within her liver. IP: Logged |

Betisa -That she had a tumor 15 years ago popped out at me too. Do you know what Transits are? On astro.com, you can see two Wheels for your friend -- One showing her Natal and the Transiting Planets 15 years ago to the day, and one for the most recent based on the exact date. You just have to change the Target Dates. You can even print them out so you have them side-by-side to compare any similarities. Also, above the Wheel on the upper righthand side is CLICK FOR ADDITIONAL TABLES. I'd print those out too. Everything is in grid form and even includes Declinations. You can get there > FREE CHARTS > EXTENDED CHARTS. It would be interesting, even though I know her Natal can be telling in itself. The thing that popped out at me from her placements is they are a Virgo Sun, and you may find that when it comes to Health, Virgo Suns usually lean to one extreme or the other. Clean/dirty, neat/messy, hypochondriac/barefoot & pantyless. Virgo is inwardly quite, and Leo is totally extroverted. The Leo energies place a higher demand on Virgo's ability to be effective in life. Was this person ever a chain smoker? As soon as things seem to be going well, something will be guaranteed to make life difficult again, and it can be for the smallest most insignifant reason. Since Mercury, Venus, Uranus & Pluto are also in Virgo, there is an increase in nervous breakdowns and the need-to-please, and don't forget that Libra Asc. Mars in Leo is probably collaborating nicely with that Moon in Leo, partners in crime while they sit in the very social 11th House. Does this person have a propensity for lying more than average? Lots of hugs are good for this person, but don't be surprised if there is hesitancy at first. Don't give up... Those Virgo energies in her 12th might exhasterbate the unecessary worry angle on this outlook. These are just off the top of my head, feel free to offer feedback. I guess everyone's first reaction here is to want to reach out to this person and help them heal. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged | |
