hi everyone! i was thinking (it's suddenly smoky in here) about the fact that all the girls in my family have planets in more masculine signs than feminine signs and the boys have more feminine signs than masculine signs. as a child i was a tomboy and so are my daughters. does anyone have this experience? and if so does anyone have any ideas of why?IP: Logged |

Yes I was a huge tomboy when I was little played more baseball and football and basketball then the boys. Aqua is a very masculine sign and I have 4 planets in that sign including Mars in Aries. BUT I have my sun sign is Pisces which rules femininty..So now that I am older and as I got older my Sun sign began to shine more. Now I am just feminine and atheletic.. IP: Logged |

I have 7 out of 10 planets that are masculine, I was a mix of tomboy ( for the fun stuff ) and a sensible little girl when I wanted to be.IP: Logged |

Ive got most planets in masculine signs, with the exception of my moon (pisces), saturn (virgo), and uranus (scorpio).I wouldnt say I was a tom boy. I did like to play with the boys, and girls too...never was into tonka trucks, tools, or wrestling. (Are there any girls here who were?) Though I did like to play sports and everything else outdoors. With toys I prefered to play with dolls, or play house with a play kitchen set, etc. IP: Logged |

Heh. Even though I have an Aries Sun and Sag. Moon, the rest of my planets are in feminine signs (Except Mars in Aquarius). I always got along better with girls than I did with other boys. I remember my mother getting mad at me when I was little because I didn't want to play with race cars with all the other boys. IP: Logged |

Neat string Braveheart. I have always been described as a 'Tom-boy'... and, yes actually, I do like to play with my truck and all kinds of tools ( I wield saws on my husbands construction crew ). I do have a Gemini sun but, Mercury is in Taurus and both are in the 7th house and, conjunct Venus... Venus is also the planet with biggest influence. I have Scorpio rising with Pluto in Libra and my Moon is at home in the 4th in Pisces. I don't know... seems like more of a feminine influence but, I do have Mars in Leo/9th and, the house is intercepted....?~ geminstone IP: Logged |

Shirty, masculine signs are fire (aries, leo, sag) and air (gemini, libra, aqua) signs.Geminstone, thats kewl you were into trucks and tools...dont know too many women who are. I did like shop class that was mandatory in grades 7, 8. There's one female tech teacher at the school I teach, who can build anything. IP: Logged |

How can Libra be a male sign? its ruling planet in Venus. I always just thought that the sign across from the male sign was its female like Taurus:Venus female Scorpio:Mars/Pluto Male or Aries:mars male Libra:Venus Female But I just look and all these website say the same thing. Although Libra and Scorpio seem totally backwards to me Scorpio female?! Its planet is mars!..... oh well But if you use the Mythology way of the plantes for male and female it works too Aries:Mars/God of War (male) Taurus:Venus/Goddess of love (female) Gemini:Mercury/God of comunication (what else is more female than comunication) Cancer:Moon/Artemis the huntress (female) Leo:Sun/Apollo (male) Virgo"the virgin":Mercury/God of comunication (what else is more female) Libra:Venus/Goddess of love (female) Scorpio:Mars,Pluto/Hades (Male) Capricorn:Saturn/Cronos God of the agriculture (male) Aquarius:Uranus/God of the sky. Father of the Titans. (male) Pisces:Neptune/Poseidon Ruler of the sea (male) So what do you think of my funky theory?IP: Logged |

Haha, DayDreamer, I didn't have an older sister, so it wasn't exactly the case for me, but I don't imagine I would have been too pleased to be used as a guinea pig. hahah IP: Logged |

I came across as a tomboy when I was little, it was just because of a tough exterior though. I was a little aggressive and probably far too willing and far too quick to get into it with other kids, especially boys. I loved all kinds of daring activities...climbing really high trees and jumping out (trying to jump across the road), exploring holes and the woods alone, all kinds of things. However, I've got 6 planets in Female signs and 5 planets in "feminine" houses. That includes VENUS in my 1st house and a Libra ascendant. Three major parts of my chart however, like I said are in masculine signs...My Ascendant (Libra) and my moon (Leo). That could explain it. My Mars is a singleton in my chart too (so thats probably all the extreme aggressive/defensive/fearlessness comes in from) and it's in masculine Aquarius, as well. IP: Logged |

braveheart -I would think that it would depend on which Planets are a part of that F/M majority. If they were located somewhere between the Sun to Saturn, I'd tend to pay attention to those possibilities. I don't really factor in the F/M thing with the rest including Points & asteroids. If you believe in reincarnation, or any of the other metaphysical subjects, ask the same question. You may find you get three good answers, not just one. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

My chart has........Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto ALL in feminine signs...*sigh*No sports for me... I would rather curl up with a good book, or enjoy a movie, or listen to music....or just day dream..... I did a lot of day dreaming with a Pisces Stellium.... *sigh* IP: Logged |
