From 'Fixed Genius' The relationship between Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, an article in The Mountain Astrologer MagazineI read this today in the new issue of TMA and it has stuck with me for some reason. I have noticed this often with Scorps, them being water signs, coming from the emotional realm and all. And being a Taurus, with Mercury in Taurus and getting to know ALOT of Scorpions over the years, I have to say I agree. Anyone else see this happening? Especially in their interactions with each other (the Taurus/Scorpion poliarity)? IP: Logged |

Hi Scorpionic Web, Hm, I dont know how that relates to the quote.....but the few Taurean females I know are real earth girls. Natural holistic, spiritual types. Not all about money and sex. So, I dunno. I notice like the quote says, that Scorps often take slight when none was meant. They DO analyze everything, dig deep, you know, Pluto stuff. Not that Taureans dont do that, it seems they just dont look for hidden insults in what people say as often. Just some thoughts. IP: Logged |

Sometimes I think its my age group. I'm 23 and Taurus girls seem mentally vapid and physically fleeting. It f*cks me up every time. They're such intriguing people, but its only because there is NOTHING there. PLEASE: I'm not trying to be offensive; astrology is all a matter of perspective. Other than a very palpable sexual attraction, I was only attracted to one Taurus for her wits aswell, and she was almost 10 years older than myself. Who knows, perhaps some can formulate deeper thought and a convincing intellect, and/or the ability to actually verbalize it, as the years pass. I'd consider any Taurus girl on this website to be automatically more advanced than the average. IP: Logged |

scorpio dating a taurus...that polarity stuff/opposites thing is BS as far as we are concerned.very intelligent girl, emotional, hard working, knows how to relax. we have a very mental relationship, but physical too. everything clicks, we get each other, compliment each other. Sounds like you've been hurt by a Taurus?  It's all about people not their astro signs. It reminds me of a Scorpio guy I was once chatting on yahoo...we had a nice interesting conversation until he found out I am a Taurus...

I know opposites CAN be mutually repellent.. but mostly, they are literally a compliment to one another. That's why they work in yin/yang combination.SW~ Most likely, they just don't want to show you their 'something', because you think you've figured it out already, and why bother. IP: Logged |

Seriously, some people on this site need to chill out. There is little freedom here to voice an opinion without being assaulted for it. Peri- This is a site aboout Astrology, not some broken-hearts club. The Taurus girls in my life have all followed my aforementioned Taurean-female stereotypes; its no longer about the person. Its bigger than that. AL- I'm not generalizing, I'm speaking my experiences. And I don't patronize, I mean what I say. SueG- Yes, I am an angry young man. But its not because of Taurus girls. Taurus girls are innocent sex toys to me, and have no role in any bitterness I have towards women. PixelPixie- In many ways opposites do compliment each other, I'm always drawn in by a Taurus girl, and thusly, will always give them a chance to prove my negative conceptions wrong. Unfortunately, I'm always let down in the same way. They only want sex and fun with me. I need wits and passion. Not just a romping good time. I have seen this play out in the taurus/scorpio relationships I am aquainted with... For the Taurus, it is what it is...
The Scorpio looks for the hidden agenda.. the additional motives....this causes problems of the ruin your day variety...Misunderstandings..and having to constantly explain yourself.. is what the Sun opposition is all about. It is very draining on them both. The two couples I know have the opposition by aspect and are currently in couseling to try and fix their sexless marriages...I hope they can work through the resentment...
