There was a thread around about a week ago about sychronicity. I wanted to raise a question about this wonderful phenomenon.

I, for one, experience sychronicity on a regular basis, sometimes to the point of gasping "omg, omg, omg, omg.." over and over again in disbelief.

Sometimes I throw out a question to the universe, hoping for an answer; I like to think that these questions are answered through sychronicity -- I run into someone who tells me something I needed to know, I see a book title or street sign that triggers a memory, etc.

However, I think that sometimes I take it too far and let these "messages" run my life. I'll go as far as waiting for a guy just because I keep seeing "signs" that tell me to hold on.

Am I disillusioned? Is this a silly behaviour? Or should I trust that these daily sychronicities are really telling me what I need to know?

I guess it comes down to the fact that we create our own reality.. so because I want something so badly, I will interpret these "messages" in a way that backs up my beliefs.

Anyway I just wanted to throw that out there.

The lesson I learned though was to be content with however it turned out rather it turned out the way I wanted it ot or not. I had to TRUST GOD that he had my heart at best interest and I would be ok with his decision. It took a long time for me to receive that, but I did finally..

I believe for me that was the lesson of Synchonicity.

What many do not realize is that although we all have some of this ability, the way it is expressed is unique to each person. Not everyone is obviously clairvoyant or clairaudent.

One of the expressions of it is what you are calling synchronicity. This is just you telling you what your sub and super consciousness observes, what it wants you to know.

Beneath it all is the living principle of connection. At certain levels all things are connected and everything becomes a symbol for somethint else. You just have a type of consciousness that notices more of these symbols than many others do.

Give thanks and be glad! This is your gift and gifts are given for use. Pay attention and your ability to recieve guidance will become increasingly more responsive to your needs.

Alice - It is interesting that you point out the variation of this ability within a group of people. I have been trying to talk to my friends about the connectedness of the world more, but many of them do not seem to grasp the concept. Especially when I begin to describe these daily occurences, I am met with nods and "yeah"s, but no real understanding.

At this stage of my life, I find it especially difficult to deal with because I am still trying to get used to it. I am learning to pay more attention to the energy and signals I pick up, but most of the time I am still baffled.

Interestingly, my intentions lead me to many discoveries and the acquisition of help and answers I need. However, when it comes to intimate relationships I have a much harder time "going with the flow" and "acting on" by sub and super conscious. I tend to overanalyze and think about things, creating issues that don't really exist.
