Could any astrologers tell me what it means if the ruler of your seventh house is in the 8th and the ruler of your eighth house is in the 7th?IP: Logged |

Dulce Luna,Depending upon the planets involved and the aspects they make: Having the ruler of the 7th in the 8th may mean that your partnerships can bring you support, money, and backing. Your face-to-face relationships may be based on sex and/or money in some capacity. You maybe able to handle money for others. Your partnership may bring you an inheritance. Having the ruler of the 8th in the 7th may mean that your abilty to heal, transform yourself, and your sexual life is tied up and dependant upon one partner. You may be involved in handling your partner's resources or handling money for others in a work related capacity. If you are looking for a book on this subject, the Only Way to Learn Astrology Volume III - Horoscope Analysis by March and McEvers is a good one. Hope that helps. IP: Logged |

Thanks, that was great. So basically, I'm good for doing others taxes.....j/k . I guess it would be good, since these two planets (which are the sun and the moon BTW)only recieve good aspects in my chart. But the healing and transformation, depending on another.....hmmmmm Thanks again IP: Logged |

lol!!! You're welcome. How this all plays out will also depend upon what sign your Sun and Moon are in (Sun in Cancer or Leo & Moon in Leo or Virgo) and of course their aspects, which you did say were all positive. With the Moon involved in the equation, you should watch your emotional reactions carefully with regards to 7th & 8th house matters, especially if you are handling other's money.

Dulce Luna,Sorry if I confused you. No worries. I'll explain With your Sun (inner self) in Cancer a Water sign you are a person who feels and acts with emotion. The keyword for Sun in Cancer is "feeling". You need and crave emotional security. When the Sun is in the 7th house you work best in a partnership and may benefit from it. You need a mate that you can feel "at home" with because Cancer is on the cusp of the 7th. With Leo on the 8th you are drawn to work with other people's money, possibly in the financial industries. With good aspects to your Sun, ruler of your 8th house, and to your Moon, placed in the 8th house, you will obtain support from other people. Your Moon (emotions) is in Virgo (Earth sign), naturally ruled by Mercury (reasoning ability). With good aspects to your Moon you are methodical and pay attention to details. Your mental ablities: analyzation and practicality are strong. Virgo likes to serve and help others. Because the Moon is in the 8th house you most likey will handle other people's money, especially from women (ie. your mom) and your spouse/partner. The cusp rulerships (7 in 8 and 8 in 7) further emphasize this fact. Moon in Virgo in the 8th with postive aspects is good for handling other people's money.
